We were still shooting at the guards.
Then there was a grenade.
My eyes widened and then it went off. It was just shocks so we were fine.
We fell to the ground and I put my hand on Newts back and the guards took us away.
We went to a row and sat down.
Newt was next to me.
"Z-Zachy"
"It will be ok. I promise"
Then Janson came out and I growled.
They scanned us.
"Did we get them all?" Janson asked.
"Most of them"
"A3" The guard said when he scanned me.
I growled at him.
"Wheres Thomas?" Janson asked.
"Right here"
I looked behind me and saw Thomas standing there.
The guard grabbed him and took him to Janson.
"Thomas" He said.
He then kneed him in the stomach and I roared him.
"Get him in line"
The guard put him next to me.
"Why didn't you run?" I asked.
"I cant just leave you guys here"
Then a big plane came down and the door opened. I then saw someone I wish I would never see.
Ava Paige.
"Is this all of them?"
"Most of them. It'll be enough"
"Load them in"
"Ok you heard her! Let's go! Get them on!"
Then Ava came over.
"Thomas. Zach. Glad I get to see you again" she touched my ear and I roared at her.
"Get the hell away from us" I said.
She played with Thomas's hair and I roared at her and pulled Thomas closer.
"You leave my brother alone"
I pulled Newt closer.
"But-"
"Get away from us" I said.
She rolled her eyes and walked away.
Then they picked us up and started pushing us to the plane.
We then were stopped by Ava.
Teresa came over.
"I'm glad you're safe"
"Wait. Teresa?" I asked.
"Wait what's going on?" Newt asked.
"Shes with them"
I growled and looked at her.
"Since when?" Minho asked.
"Oh Teresa's always had evolved an appreciation for the greater good. Once we restored her memories. Only in a matter of time"
A tear rolled down my cheek.
"I'm sorry. I had no choice this is the only way"
