A lot had happened over the following month after Victoria and her new-born army had been defeated. Bella and Edward had been busy preparing for their wedding. Actually, Alice had been the one preparing and the couple just went along with it.
Hannah hadn't spoken a single word to Bella the entire time. She was still mad about what had happened up in the mountains. It had gotten so bad, that now whenever Bella walked into a room with Hannah in it, the hybrid would simply get up without a word and walk out. Not even sparing a glance at her former best friend. It didn't help that Hannah was also upset at the fact that Jacob had run away. And he did it at the worst possible moment. He ran away the day Hannah was going to tell him about the baby.
(Flashback- 1 month ago)
Hannah was driving down to La Push in her car about a week after she found out she was pregnant. She'd been avoiding going down to the rez for as long as she could in fear of how Jake would react to the baby.
Their baby.
Would he be happy? Angry? Would he not want anything to do with the child? Hannah didn't know. And it terrified her to no end. But after a small push from her family and Hannah was now on her way to break the news.
She already had a small baby bump despite only being about a week or two pregnant. Carlisle had said that due to the baby most likely being a hybrid, it's growth rate was a lot faster than a normal baby. But it was healthy and so was Hannah which was good.
Due to the fact that she was now a wolf, Hannah had cut her short so it lay just on her shoulders and she had the tribal tattoo now on her right arm. Her family were a little sceptical of her getting a tattoo but if Hannah was going to be apart of the pack then she had to have it.
Hannah pulled up to the familiar little red house just as it was starting to drizzle with rain. Hannah sighed and glanced down at her stomach, running a gentle hand over the slight bump.
"I guess this is it, sweetheart. Wish me luck" Hannah muttered with a small smile before getting out of the car and hurrying to the front door, to avoid the rain that was getting heavier by the second.
She gave a quick knock on the door before entering the house. Billy, who was sat at the kitchen table reading a newspaper, looked up when Hannah came in knowing it would be her. She'd called ahead to know if Jake was out on patrol or not. He was when she called, so Hannah planned to surprise him when he came home.
"Do my eyes deceive me or is that Hannah Hale walking through my door?" Billy teased as Hannah walked over, giving the older man a kind smile.
"Hey, Billy. Sorry, it's been so long" Hannah apologised, leaning down to hug the man.
"It's alright. It must've been extremely important to keep you away for a couple of days, let alone a week... You didn't get grounded again did you?" Billy teased again as Hannah sat down across from him at the table.
