Newborn and Re-born

It was a girl! It was Renesmee!

"You're beautiful" Bella muttered wearily, staring lovingly at her newborn daughter.

Edward gently placed the small child on Bella's chest as Jacob and Hannah watched with a small smile.

"I told you it would be a girl" Hannah whispered to Jake who playfully shoved her. Their playful banter got interrupted when Renesmee bit Bella before starting to cry. Edward took back the baby and calmed her down.

Bella smiled at her child once more before her face fell and she stopped moving.

"Bella?" Jake shook Bella gently but she remained unresponsive. "Bella! Bella!"

Jake started to do CPR on Bella in hopes of reviving her.

"Bella, come on" Hannah mumbled watching with helpless eyes.

"Hannah, take the baby," Edward said, holding out the small child to his sister.

"Keep that thing away from us" Jake snapped when Hannah went to take her newborn niece from Edward.

"Jacob now is not the time!" Hannah snapped back as Rosalie came back into the room.

"Edward, I'll take her." Edward looked reluctant " I promise I'm okay. Let me"

Edward handed Renesmee to Rose who then walked out of the room. Edward turned around and took out a huge syringe from a draw.

"What is that?" Jake questioned

"It's my venom" Edward replied and stabbed the needle into Bella's chest, injecting all the venom into her. The trio waited for a moment, all looking desperate and panicked but Bella didn't move.

"Hannah, do it now" Edward ordered his sister, she nodded.

"Do what?" Jake demanded in confusion

"Jake, just trust us... Trust me" Hannah reassured him

Jake nodded, taking a step back as Hannah took his place by Bella's side. She held her hands over Bella's heart. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. When her eyes reopened they were glowing bright gold. Static sounds were heard from her palms before Bella's body suddenly jerked at the sudden shock. After a few seconds, Hannah repeated her actions but Bella remained the same.

"It's supposed to be working" Edward muttered

Frantic to save her friend, Hannah did it a third time. But after getting the same result, she stopped and burst into tears. She clung to her best friends bloodstained shirt sobbing before then running from the room heartbroken.

It was over.

Isabella Marie Swan

Her best friend...Was gone.

Hannah still had tears running down her cheeks when she found herself back in the living room. Rosalie was sat on the couch with a now clean and smiling baby Renesmee. Rose turned around when she heard her sister come in and gasped at her sister's appearance.

Her eyes were bloodshot, puffy, and red. Her nose was runny. Her cheeks caked in tears and her hair was a mess.

Rosalie didn't need to ask what happened. Bella was gone. Rose frowned sadly but gestured for Hannah to join her on the couch.

"Someone's been waiting to meet you," She said with a small smile.

Hannah gave a small sniffle, wiped her eyes and sat beside her sister and little niece. Rose gently handed Renesmee over to Hannah who did her best to smile at the tiny child.
