Witnesses

The next morning, everyone got packing ready to go and collect witnesses to help against the Volturi. Hannah was busy silently packing a bag for Sarah but would constantly glance around the room confused as to why two certain people weren't around. Where on earth were Jasper and Alice? Usually, Alice would be running around everywhere, throwing cute clothes and accessories at Hannah for her to pack but the fairy-like vampire was nowhere to be seen, which she found extremely odd.   

" At least we get to go to London again. We haven't been there in a long time" Esme smiled at Carlisle as they packed their bags. Carlisle smiled back lovingly at his wife. 

Jake walked up to Hannah with another bag in his hand " Sarah's in the car, all ready to go. You need help with anything?" 

"Nope. I'm good. Thanks" Hannah's short, sharp reply baffled Jake slightly 

"Are you okay, babe? You seem a little... on edge" Jake pointed out 

"I'm fine. Have you seen my brother by any chance?" 

"Which one? "Jake smirked 

Hannah looked up at Jake and rolled her eyes playfully. " My bio brother. Have you seen him?" 

"Not since last night, why?" Jake questioned 

"No reason. Just wondering where he is. I haven't seen him or Alice all morning" Hannah sighed, zipping up the bag she was packing and throwing it over her shoulder. 

Jake reached down and grabbed the other two bags by Hannah's feet" Alright, let's get this show on the...Road" 

He stopped when he noticed Sam approaching the house through the window. Everyone dropped their bags and went outside to see what he wanted. Hannah remained on alert, just in case something were to happen but as it turns out Sam was there for a truce. He shook Jacob's hand and gave Hannah a nod to reassure her that there was going to be no more fighting between the packs. Hannah just smiles at him slightly.  Sam then turned to Carlisle and held out a piece of paper to him. 

"Alice asked me to give you that. She and Jasper crossed our lands to the ocean last night "Sam explained before leaving. 

Carlisle opened the paper and read it's contents. 

"Carlisle?" Rosalie called when he didn't say anything 

"They've left us" Carlisle stated 

"They what?!" Hannah gasped "Why!? Why now of all times ?!" 

"She didn't say" 

"Can I see that?" Bella asked and Carlisle handed her the paper. It looked like a book page. But all it said was "Gather as many witnesses as you can before the snow sticks to the ground. That's when they'll come for us" 

Hannah stood there for a moment before bolting back into the house. 

"Hannah!" Jake quickly followed her. He found her back where they were before picking up the bags. "Babe?"
