It had been two weeks since Bella and Edward went on their honeymoon. They had gone to Rio and were staying on the island Carlisle had gifted to Esme long ago.
During those two weeks, a lot had happened in Forks. For starters, the pack had two new members, Collin Littlesea and Bradly Fuller, who were both only 13 years old making them the youngest in the pack. They were fairly quiet boys and kept to themselves mostly. Hannah and Jake had been inseparable ever since Jake returned and found out he was a father. He wanted to make up for the lost time he could've spent with his daughter and girlfriend during the month he was gone. Both Jake and Hannah were concerned as Sarah's growth rate hadn't slowed down even a little bit over the past weeks. And the little girl now looked like a 3-year-old with her mother's hair and her father's eyes.
The pack decided to go down the beach for the day, along with the imprints. Some of the boys were kicking a ball around while the other imprints sat on a blanket, watching. Jake was sat on a bit of driftwood, not far from the others along with Embry and Seth, and was watching as Hannah played in the sand with little Sarah. Buddy was there too, but he was busy splashing around in the seawater.
"I wonder what Bella's excuse is going to be when she comes back and turns," Hannah thought out loud
"Maybe they'll say she was in a car crash. Or tripped and fell off a cliff" Jake replied watching as Sarah dumped a handful of sand on her small castle.
" At least I'll get one thing out of it"Hannah glanced up at Jake, looking unimpressed by his comment.
"No you won't" Sam cut in, as he stopped playing for a moment." The Cullens are not a danger to this town or the tribe."
Leah then came over and joined Hannah and Sarah in the sand just as the sun was beginning to set.
"Well, he's either gonna kill her or change her. And the treaty says..."
"I say, Jacob. I say" Sam cut him off before he went back to playing with the others.
Hannah sighed, already tired of all the drama. She glanced over at Jake again before looking back at her daughter.
