The family were all hanging out in the living room. Jasper and Emmett were watching a football game on TV while Alice sat next to them and Hannah sat on the floor in front of them, peacefully drawing in her sketchbook.

Jasper was casually playing with his little sister's hair, something he always did during their human days. He often did it to distract himself or to just soothe his nerves. Hannah didn't mind at all, she too found it soothing.
Bella lay on the opposite couch, while the others watched over her. Bella shivered and lowered the sleeves of her jacket.
"Are you cold?" Edward asked his wife.
Bella nodded in response.
"Jake?" Hannah asked, turning to her boyfriend who was sat close to Bella, with Sarah asleep on his shoulder.
" I got it," Jake replied, scooting over, trying not to wake his sleeping daughter, to place a hand on Bella side. It instantly provided her warmth. Bella smiled up at him.
"Don't do that"
"Do what?" Bella asked
"Smile like I'm your favourite person in the world," Jake told her
"You're one of them" Bella replied weakly " It feels complete when your both here"
Bella looked over and sent a smile at Hannah who gladly returned the smile, before going back to her drawing.

Bella suddenly sat up gasping and holding her stomach, looking like she was going to be sick. Edward speedily grabbed a trash can and held it in front of Bella. But she just continued to whimper and heave as there was nothing in her stomach to throw up.
"We need to find a way to get some food into her system" Esme sighed as Bella lay back down.
"If Hannah and I could only see the fetus ..."
"The baby" Rosalie corrected
"Maybe we could figure out what it wants" Alice finished
