It was a cold Christmas evening and the girls and I were having our annual Christmas party at the dorm. We ordered a bunch of food and Jihyo and Jeongyeon made sangria. To celebrate the season, we played games after we ate. We started with a game of Jenga and Nayeon suggested playing Never Have I Ever. After a while, the game became too boring since we knew each other like the back of our hands. Dahyun suggested we move on to our annual Secret Santa.
“Okay, everybody! It’s time for Secret Santa, so go and get your gifts and prepare a small description of the person you picked,” Ji Hyo said excitedly with her loud voice.
Ji Hyo spun the empty wine bottle she used for the sangria earlier to decide who should go first. The bottle spun for a few seconds and as it slowed down and stopped it landed on me. I got my gift ready and spoke,

“This person has a special place in my heart. I got her the essentials she needs for her hobby and I hope she can use it well. She loves arts and crafts so I got her an art package.” As I finished my short description I walked towards Chaeyoung’s direction, hugged her and wished her a merry christmas.

Chaeyoung thanked me and proceeded to give her gift to the person she picked. “So this person loves to eat.” As we heard that phrase from her we already knew who it was. “She’s hardworking and loving towards her fellow members. I’m thankful that she’s a part of our team.” She gave her gift which was a beef set to Momo eonni. “Merry Christmas, eonnie. You can share or eat it all by yourself,” she said as she laughed and hugged Momo.
