The Rainbow Wolf

Chapter 14.

'Alpha. A wolf at the northern border is claiming that you are expecting him.'

'If he's the Twilight pack's Third then yes. I am.'

'He is. Shall I bring him?'

'No. This may be a trap. You keep a look out and don't let him move. Kayden will bring him.'

'Ok Alpha.'

As soon as he said that I broke off the connection.

'Kayden go to the northern border and bring him to me.'I said

'Yes Alpha.'

A few minutes later there was a knock on the door and Kayden along with the Third appeared at the door.

Kayden looked pissed off and the Third was pale.

"Alpha may I have a word with you?"Kayden asked

"Yes. Diaval can you show our guest where to sit?"

"Yes Alpha."

I motioned for Kayden to go outside the room. He did and I followed him closing the door behind me.

"So what?"he asked

"What do you mean Kayden?"

"I mean what did I ever do wrong that led you to get a new Third. I do my job with the utmost attention yet you want to replace me."he whisper shouted

"Kayden you've got this all wrong. "I said

"Have I?"he asked

"Yes. I don't want to replace you. Why would I? You've done nothing but good. He in there is the Twilight pack's Third. He just wamted to talk to me."I explained

Kayden's eyes widened with realisation.

"Oh. Sorry Alpha. Please forgive me."he begged

"Kayden it's ok."

"But how did I not know of this?"

I chuckled and said,"you were having that cold shower of yours."

I chuckled even more when his cheeks turned pink.

"Aww look at you blushing"i teased

"The Third in there."he said

I smiled and entered the room, only for that smile to be wiped off.

Diaval and the Third were glaring and growling at eachother.

"What on earth do you think you're doing? You're a guest. Be glad I didn't put you in a cell and talk to you like that."

"Sorry Alpha Blue." The third apologised

"So what do you want?"I asked

"I don't like my Alpha. He isn't doing his job properly. I will tell you things that are happening in the Twilight pack. I'll tell you all the plans. Everything."

'Looks like we have a traitor in our hands. However I would love to know what's happening. Maybe we can gather the rouges who attack them or know who would want to attack us I' said to Diaval and Kayden.

'Yeah. But we need to keep a tight leash in him.'Kayden said

'I say we appoint someone to keep tabs on him.'Diaval said

'Ok.'was the last thing I said before cutting of the mind link.

"What's your name?"I asked the traitor.

"Ashton."he replied

"Well Ashton tell me something you found out."I ordered

Ashton's face lit up and he said,"ok well Alpha Mason is going to meet Alpha Dean. Apparently a few groups of rouges were spotted lurking in the shadows near the Blue Moon pack's territory. Alpha Mason is going to be there to try and fight them off with 10 of his best warriors. The Beta is staying with the Twilight pack."

The moment I heard 'Alpha Mason" a warm feeling went through me.

Weird.

"And you?"I ask

"I'm staying with the Beta."he answered

"Alpha Blue. "I growled

"Oh yes Alpha Blue. I'm staying with the Beta. Alpha Blue."Ashton corrected

"Good. Now get out of here. Call me before you come. Which will be next month, same time, same day."I ordered

Ashton bowed before me and left my office.

"Kayden. Get Daniel's 10 second best men. I will leave you in charge until I come back. Don't let me find out that you're like that pathetic excuse for a Third. A traitor. Or so help me."I growled

Kayden went pale and nodded.

"I'm not like him. It wouldn't occur to me to do that. Alpha."

"I'm not saying you are like him. I just don't want to see you get hurt."I explained in a warmer tone.

Kayden relaxed and nodded firmly

"Thanks for trusting me."he said

"I trust you, Diaval and my pack with my life."was my response before he went to get Daniel.

"Diaval. I'm going to show myself. We will not shift back to our human forms there. Not until i say so.I don't want them knowing who i am yet. Also I cant risk my pack's safety."I ordered

"Of course Els."was what he replied.

I smiled and exited the house.

Me and Diaval waited for a bit for Daniel's ten men. After they arrived

Diaval,me and them made our way towards my old pack.

I can just imagine Yvett's and Adam's reaction.
