On team 7's day off they decide to go out for coffee. They found Sumire and Chocho there as well. "Sarada!" Chocho yelled. "Hi guys" Sumire waved to the group. "Hey is it your day off too?" Sarada asked "Yea Shikadai and Inojin are training with auntie Ino but I wasn't feeling up to it today, I wanted sweets" Chocho exclaimed. "We came here to have some coffee" Boruto said. They sat together waiting for their coffees. "Sarada you look cute today!" Chocho stated."Thanks Chocho!" Sarada said happily. "Don't you think so too Mitsuki? Chocho questioned. Mitsuki looked surprised at this sudden question but answered with "Sarada looks cute everyday" he said nonchalantly. Sarada was surprised at first but smiled at him with a faint blush on her cheeks. "Thanks Mitsuki!" Sarada said ecstatically. "You look rather handsome your self" Sarada said as she winked at him. Those words coming out of her mouth made him blush a little. "Thanks!" Mitsuki said in return. The rest of their friends looked rather surprised that she would boldly say something so flirty. "Hmm lets leave them alone guys" Chocho said as she pilled Boruto and Sumire behind her. "Oi I didn't get my coffee yet!" Boruto yelled. "You can wait! do you not see the chance for love to blossom right in front of you! Chocho said pointing at Sarada and Mitsuki. She pulled them both out and left Sarada and Mitsuki to themselves. "Well I guess lets make the most of it " Mitsuki said with a smile. Sarada smiled shyly. They talked for hours about their favorite books, and missions they liked. "We should do this more often Mitsuki!" Sarada exclaimed happily. "I'd like that Sarada" Mitsuki said back.

"Festival"

"Sarada I was looking for you!" Mitsuki shouted. Sarada looked over to see her friend in blue festival attire. "Boruto already started looking for a spot to sit for the fireworks we have to hurry up before they start." he quickly yelled over all the music and conversations at the festival. He grabbed her hand an hurriedly pulled her through the crowd. She looked at all the lights and bright signs and food stands. Then smell of fried foods and sweets filled the air.

They searched through the crowd for about ten minutes with no sign of Boruto anywhere. "Hmm I don't see Boruto anywhere, but he was with class rep so where ever they are they should be alright" Mitsuki stated.  "I guess so but where will we sit then?" Sarada questioned. "I know a good spot we could go but it's kinda far from here so we better hurry if we want to see all the fireworks" Mitsuki said as he pulled her behind him and began speed walking through the crowd. They continued on until they started walking through an ally way. "Mitsuki this looks kinda sketch don't you think?" she questioned him. "it's  ok I've been through here before it's just a shortcut to the place" he calmly stated.

They finally stopped walking once they reached a small dock over the lake. It was a small clearing were there wasn't a ton of trees blocking the sky and it was mostly open space. They sat at the end of the dock and quietly waited for the fireworks to start. Mitsuki was the one to break the silence, "The stars look pretty bright tonight" he said as he longingly looked at the sky. "You know the brightest star in the sky is Sirius, also known as the dog star unless you consider the sun a star then obviously it would the brightest. Sirius is 8.6 light years away from us yet still it shines so bright" she stated as a matter of factually. "You seem to know a lot Sarada, you've always been very keen" Mitsuki said as he smiled fondly at her. Sarada blushed at his remark but smiled brightly in return. "We see the stars every night yet we know so little about them, so I'd like to know the everything there is  know about them" she said. "Hmm I see " Mitsuki said with a closed eye smile. "It's kinda windy tonight" Sarada stated while rubbing her arms "Are you cold?" Mitsuki asked. "A little bit" Sarada answered. "You can come under my sleeve this shirt is really big on me so we could both fit under it" Mitsuki said while lifting his sleeve to her. "O-ok I guess" she said awkwardly. They both scooted towards each other, he casually draped his over sized sleeve around her. She turned to face him, he was so close to her she got lost in his bright yellow eyes that were illuminated by the moonlight and almost glowed in the dark.

She came back to reality once she heard the fireworks start, she looked up to the sky, and watched the fireworks light up the night sky. She watched as Mitsuki's face lit up with joy seeing the fireworks. She smiled at him as she admired his face, she noticed how sharp his jaw bone was,  Mitsuki was kinda handsome. A small blush crept onto her face as she realized her own thoughts, she turned her face towards her lap,  she'd never thought weird things like this before.  Mitsuki turned to look and see if she was enjoying the fireworks and noticed the odd look on her face. "Is something wrong Sarada? Are you not enjoying the fireworks?" he asked concerned. Her head quickly jolted up and she blushed madly, "Did he notice me looking at him?" she thought to herself. "No! it's not that I-i just.."Sarada tried to say. "Are you still cold?" he asked interrupting her. "U-uh um n-o" she tried to get the words out of her mouth, but he suddenly wrapped his arms around her and pulled into a tight hug. "M-Mitsuki!?" she questioned "Is this better? Are you warmer like this?" he asked her casually. "I-I mean I am warmer now, but I wasn't that cold before, you shirt was enough" she stated awkwardly. "So do you want to stay like this, or were you more comfortable how we were before?" he asked secretly hoping she wanted to stay close. "This is fine, I guess" she said looking down with an embarrassed pout on her face. "OK I'll make sure you stay warm for the rest of the fireworks show!" he said looking up to the sky to continue watching the fireworks. "Stupid Mitsuki!" she thought to herself "Why'd he have to hug me so suddenly? Making me blush like that I probably look like a tomato! But it is really warm snuggled up like this, I kinda like it" she thought as she looked to the sky and continued watching the fireworks. "He should be like this more often" she thought to herself.

"Hey Mitsuki, did you finish reading that book I let you borrow yesterday?" Sarada asked him."Yea it was really good I should read mystery books more often!" Mitsuki said back to her. "You guys can finish a book in a day?" Boruto asked. "Yeah" Sarada and Mitsuki said in unison. "Nerds" Boruto said to them mockingly.
