HIS POV 2019
"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked, looking into her green eyes. Those eyes....just her eyes.
She faintly smiles and looks straight into my soul and pierced my heart all at the same time. "I didn't want you to live a life with me."

Jersey's POV 2013
Could it really be him?
I was suddenly snapped out in the realm of slow motion when I could hear his phone ringing from across. No, no, no, no!
He looks at his phone for a split second and then back at me in confusion. He then answers the call and I was shocked when I heard his voice through mine. "Hello?"
Oh my god....
...
And so, I found myself in the most horrible position possible. We were both sitting across each other, arms crossed, and just in a state of silence. How did I end up in this situation! I'm so dead!
"So, you're Ms. McMahan." He began to mutter as he starts to flip through the papers I had laid out earlier. I couldn't even look at him! I was so dismayed.

What if I actually did offend him. I'm so dead!
"Look, about a while ago. I-
He suddenly holds up his hand at me before letting me finish. I blinked and waited for him to finish reading the papers. I sighed. I would toss him out on the road, but he was freaking Killian Felburn! If I don't get this deal, father will be so upset!
"Well," He sighs as he closed the folder and gives it back to me. "The proposal is great. Very well written."
I smiled. "Thank you."
"So, your company would like to offer Optel Corp. to be your main investor for a telecom company."
"Good. You understood." I said as I beamed a smile. "As you know, our company is reliable and can guarantee a hundred percent assurance that the return of finance will benefit both-
