Why is he here?

I was frozen when he stepped in front of me

"So that fag decided to come back to school" he grinned

"I was- um i- just... excuse me" I managed to get those few words out, but when trying to leave I was stopped

"Now isn't it rude to leave your guests unacquainted?" His grin grew wider

"I'm sorry- I- I have to go" I ducked beneath his are and ran to the office tears forming in my eyes

I needed to go home. This wasn't how today was supposed to go

I didn't want to see him

I was scared

I wimped out
Because

I'm pathetic

There is no use staying in this place

I thought this was collage?

This seems more like some high school drama movie

That I don't want to be the star of

I walked to the nurse and was excused to go home because I 'wasn't feeling well' and instead of going to iwaizumis place, I went to the ocean

Standing on the beach

I looked into the water thinking

I wish the waves would just take me away, never to be seen again

I stepped closer to the water but stopped

And once again I'm scared

What if it pulls me underneath

I would leave makki and mattsun and iwa-Chan

I'd be leaving forever and without saying anything

I stood there for a while

I turned around and left, it was almost sun down when I started making my way to iwaizumis place

"Oh hey"

I look up, it was hajime

"Hey iwa-Chan" Oikawa looked back down

"Hey what's wrong?" He asked grabbing my shoulder

I flinched

That feeling again

"Nothing, why are you here?"

"I like to stroll on the beach sometimes, reminds me of when I would surf. I don't surf because of collage but if I could go back in I would" Oikawa received a grin with that

Oikawa smiled lightly

"Oh look my iwa-Chan can surf~" he swooned

"Cut it out" iwaizumi said while chuckling

"Wanna go take a walk by the beach?"

Oikawa knew he just went but it didn't hurt to spend time with hajime

Nodding slightly they made way to the beach

"Cmonnnn it's not that deep" iwaizumi said with wide arms

"No thank you, I don't want my hair being ruined" Oikawa said while flipping his hair

Suddenly something locked their arms around him and took of his shoes and socks

Oikawa was frozen

Iwaizumi continued to carry him out further, where the sea was right below hajimes knees

"LET ME GO!" Oikawa kicked wanting to be set free

"Gladly" iwaizumi said while slowly loosening his grip
 
"WAIT IWA-CHAN DONT DO THIS I WAS KIDDING DONT DROP ME"

"That's what I thought"

Iwaizumi smirked setting Oikawa down in the water

Oikawa admires the reflection of the sunset on the water

"Y'know iwa-Chan, I envy you..."

"How so" hajime raises a brow

"Well youre free, you have all this water to venture in while I'm stuck on the land. You have no fear and you have so much you can do. Like you can surf or be a gardener or volleyball player if you wanted..."

"Oikawa...-"

"I'm just stuck on the land, I don't have any talents or anywhere to move, I'm just a flower that's rooted to the ground. No where for me to go...." Oikawa kicked the water a bit

"that's not true" hajime said with a low voice

"your amazing at volleyball and your super fun to be around, talent isn't just something that you see it's something others can feel. And you can make anyone's day Like it or not, you make people's lives better... like... mine" iwaizumi looked up to make eye contact

They say there for a minute or so

Hajime looked away

"it's getting late wanna head out?" Iwaizumi suggested

Oikawa nodded

Hajimes words repeated in his mind

Over and over

And over and over again

Oikawa didn't know how to feel
