Memories (haikyuu : Iwaoi)

Part 23

Iwaizumi spent as much time with oikawa as he could for the next couple weeks

Oikawa didn't really attend school either

They would go by the beach, get coffee. Iwaizumi even tried to teach Oikawa how to surf on the weekends

Sometimes they'd have movie nights and cook together

Doing what anyone would do when they're bored

The pair enjoyed their time together

Made many memories during those weeks

When one day iwaizumi asked Oikawa to go home for a bit

Confused Oikawa agreed and made his way home

Walking he tried to think of what iwaizumi must've needed him to leave for

Upon arriving home he just sat there

Doing nothing for a couple hours when there was a knock at the door

Opening it, makki stood there with a letter with Oikawa written on the front

I'm going to need you to not open this for a while, I was told to let you know that

Makki looked away, squeezing his eyes shut like he was already regretting hat he was doing

"What? What's with that face"

"It's- it's nothing I'll be on my way"

Makki quickly made his way back to the car where mattsun sat in the drivers seat

Oikawa waved and went back inside deciding to listen to what Makki told him and continued scrolling through his phone

He saw some pictures him and iwaizumi took together

Some at the park
Some at a coffee shop
Some were at the beach

They hadn't been in a while as it was beginning to get closer to winter but Oikawa knew he enjoyed these past few weeks

A text message was sent by an unknown number

'Unknown ???'

I'm sorry

You won't even have to see me again

This is goodbye

Just know I always loved you and hope you enjoyed our time together

Oikawas eyes shot open at the realization that it could only be one person saying this

Only one person

And that was

Iwaizumi hajime

Sprinting out the door Oikawa ran as if hus life depended on it

Making his way to a place he knew very well

Turning the corner wind started to pick up as it was around that season

Upon reaching iwaizumis door Oikawa jostled the handle trying to get it open

But to no avail

Climbing up the tree he made is way to the window climbing in
