Ten Years Later

Oakley POV

" Ma where's my shoes ". Zaire say.

" Ask your dad ". I said.

" Nah you should keep up with ya shit ". Jay said holding Zaire shoes.

I've never been happier. I have my own family and I'm engaged. It took a long time to get myself back on my feet after losing Audrey. I wasn't motivated to do anything. But a couple months later I found out I was pregnant with Zaire who's ten. My relationship with Jay got closer then ever. We made promises to each other. And it's been best ten years with him.

" Leave him alone he takes after his dad ". I say.

" Hell nah ". Jay laughed.

" Don't forger we're going to Wayne house for dinner please don't be late ". I say to Jay and Zaire.

When they hang out time always on their mind they think they can just show up whenever.

" Tell ya husband that ". Zaire say.

" I'm serious ". I say.

" We will I promise ". Jay said kissing me.

" Alright be safe ". I said.

" Of course ". Zaire say.

I was at Carmen and Wayne house for dinner. I got here early to help cook a little. Everyone in the group had kids. Wayne and Carmen has a baby girl name Camilla she's so adorable. They gave her Audreys name for her middle name. She's seven but acts twenty. Rob has an eleven year old. Turns out he had a baby he didn't know about. It surprised us all Rob had to raise him on his own. But he had us to help, he changed a lot since Mykell came into his life. All our kids grew up with each other so they can know they have family.

Jay POV

Zaire and I had a surprise for Oakley and I was excited to show it off. I never thought I'll be a dad and I never thought I'll settle down. I'm in a happy place right now. I'm about to get married my family's happy.

" Ma said we can't be late ". Zaire say.

" Man I run this show ". I said starting the car up.

" Tell her that ". He said
