BNA Shirou x Male OC

Chapter 3

I Woke up still on my bed this morning a bit tired after yesterday's events but i was soon Shaken up after looking at the time-
"IM LATE" I yelled outloud as i jumped out of bed in a hurry causing me to get all tangled up in my blanket and after setting myself free i rushed to the bathroom and washed up wore a shirt and jeans and headed out straight to beastmean coop.
I stood outside the door panting after the marathon i did to get here and after a few knocks i am greeted by Michiru
"Oh hey Mihiro!...are you okay? you look out of breath"
"Jus-just give me a minute-" i let out still gasping for air hands on my knees and she laughs for some reason.
after a few she lets me into the building and turns out They were just having breakfast,Merissa and gem sat on the table adjacent to eachother
and Shirou was reading a newspaper but he lays it down as he notices us approaching
"Oh it's the newcomer" Gem says and i wave at them 'did he forget my name ;_;'
"Mihiro young man it's good to see you!" Merissa greets warmly
i greet back and they all smile and Shirou nods
i stand there awkwardly until i am surprised with Michiru pushing me towards a seat on the table "Have breakfast with us!" "i-uhm don't thin-" and in not even a second i find myself at the table on a seat facing Shirou.
'Oh god not the hot one T~T.'
"Do you want anything sweetie?" Merissa asks
"Im not really a breakfast person but i could go for some coffee!"
"I'll take care of it." Shirou says as he then stands up and walks towards a coffee machine by the counter
"Oh yeah! Shirou does make the best coffee!" Michiru remarks
"Oh really?" i find myself more interested.
"He is a great cook overall even though he says it's nothing"She adds.

'A guy that has Dashing goodlooks AND can cook now i don't have half the chance i did before,it's not like they were big anyways.' i sigh defeated.

"Here" i snap out of my thoughts to the voice of Shirou standing bent down handing the cup of coffee,
I wrap my hands around the cup and for a small moment i got to feel Shirou's hands,cold compared to the warm cup then he slowly pulls away and i do the same.
i let the coffee cool down a bit so as to not burn my tongue. and after the first sip i was hooked it was the perfect flavor not too sweet nor too bitter and my face automatically manages a wide smile.
"It's so goooooood" i could barely keep my body from melting off the seat fron satisfaction Gem merissa and Michiru laugh and i manage to catch Shirou slightly smirking.

After breakfast Shirou and Michiru started introducing and explaining what my job as a social worker consisted off
Since I'm just a beginner i was only tasked to keep an eye out for suspicious activity and help citizens who needed help and i would occasionally but rarely accompany Them on several missions.

So for a start Shirou offered to give me a sort of like tour of the city as he wasn't fond of the idea of me using a GPS to get around Whilst Michiru went off to see a friend.

Shirou started introducing me to some popular areas and places to look out for or stay away from.
And unexpectedly our conversations turned more casual.
We were now close to City hall in a small park both sitting on a bench the colors of the sky slowly taking a grey hue whilst we took in the fresh air quietly.
"Can i ask you something?" he looks at me, breaking the silence and i nod
"Do you think it's a good idea to start accepting humans into Animacity?" The question clearly takes me by surprise,'can he not tell I'm a human?'
i process the question for a while but then answer "Y-yeah i do"
"But you know humans hate beastmen" he adds immediately but i gain a boost of confidence "I wouldn't say it's all hate" he looks at me confused but clearly interested in what i have to say "What i mean is that we- i mean most humans might just be jealous,jealous of the fact that beastmen get to have cool Animal forms and even some abilities like flying or other animal abilities or they might just be scarred thinking we pose a threat to them" he stares at me but not coldly this time.
"So in conclusion if we accept some humans and show them that we can live together no problem then I'm sure all the hate and protests would die down!" i Thumbs up optimistically with an encouraging smile.
Although he stays quiet lost looking at the floor i could tell that the point got to him and i start doubting myself but we are soon interrupted by droplets of water slowly falling on us and we realised it was raining.

We started walking back to the co-op as it was the closest but then rain got heavier and heavier and the refreshing breeze turned into cold stubborn wind.
Shirou walked normally in his wolf form not bothered by the rain thanks to his fur and coat while i hugged myself trying to keep warm 'serves me right for only wearing a shirt!'
Shirou turns around as if to check if i was still following notices my state then takes his Long beige coat and wraps it around my back whilst also covering my head and although wet it deflected the water nicely. realising what he just done I feel my cheeks burning up from blushing either that or that was a sign that i was gonna catch a cold

We arrived and entered into the co-op both extremely soaked The horners and Michiru no where to be found.
he hands me a towel and gets one for himself
"Haha,Wet wolf" i couldn't help nut laugh at his dampy state
he immediately shakes off the water the way dogs do and I'm immediately soaked again.
"better?" he smirks and i find myself laughing "yeah i probably deserved that"

we resume back to fully drying ourselves up,fortunately my pants weren't all that wet but my shirt got the short end of the stick and would never dry up under this weather
Shirou notices the issue and offers me one of his shirts since my clothes were back at the apartment
we sit on his couch upstairs and it's the first time i get a look at his office it was practically a library with how much books there was and he had a good view too, he turns into his wolf form again his eyes closed after he got into a comfortable postition we stay silent and after some minutes Shirou is fast asleep
He was like a puppy sleeping the sight of him gives me the sudden urge to pet the floof on his head but right as i reach my head towards him his head and upperbody slowly colapses down onto my lap and i began freaking out inside thinking i woke him after hearing him grunt but notice him still fast asleep so i calm down and regain the courage to pet his head and when i do i notice his tail slowly and rhythmically wagging and thumping against the couch 'he is such a dog' i smile.
i lay next to him but not too close and the sound of the rain lulles me to sleep.
