Nico's eyes roll up into his head, and he falls backwards, losing control of his body.
I manage to grab hold of him before he falls backwards and hits his head. I lift him up and lie him on the table, channeling my medic mind to stop me panicking.
'What happened?' Percy asks, clearly worried.
'Probably low iron. He'll be fine. He always eats badly and avoids sleep when I don't force him. It's not the first time it's happened.' I say, going to check him over. Kayla saw everything happen and rushes to my side.
'What happened?' She asks, taking over. I sit down, letting her take charge. This isn't worth fighting with her over. Rule number one of the Apollo cabin: no looking after your significant other.
'He seems fine?' Kayla says, 'as in there is no reason for him to pass out.'
'Seriously?' I ask.
'What does that mean?' Percy asks.
'It means it's probably magic.' I say, 'maybe a God trying to communicate. Maybe someone trying to warn him or threaten him.'
'But he's okay?' Percy asks.
'He's fine.' I say, 'we're just going to have to wait until he wakes up to see who we have to blame.'
