"So, Delilah dear, do you have any designs that you could show me? I would love to see some of your work."

Delilah blew out of breath of relief grateful that she was asking about something other than Jace. Smiling widely, Delilah replied. "I do actually. On the side, I sometimes take on commissions to design houses."

Carol's face lit up. She was liking Delilah more and more and thought she was perfect for her son. For once, her son finally had his eyes on the right one. "I would love to see them!!"

From across the table Scarlett was smiling brightly at Delilah. She was extremely proud of her best friend. "Mrs. Sullivan, you should see the beach villa Delilah designed for my parents. It looks absolutely amazing."

Jace's mom put her utensils down exited, "Do you have a picture?!!"

Scarlett proudly said, "Of course!!! I'll pull it up right now."

Carol was shifting in her seat, delighted. As Scarlett came over to show her the photos, Carol squealed, "I love it!! How creative."

Scarlett smiled proudly, "Isn't it? My parent's love it."

Delilah smiled pleased that she liked her work. "Thank you. It means a lot."

After they looking through the pictures, Carol was impressed with Delilah. "You know, my oldest daughter is also an architect. You should meet her. She would love you."

Delilah smiled politely, "I would love to."

"You know what, you should come over for dinner again some time. Jace's sister's would love to meet you. They would love you like I already do."

Delilah glanced at Jace next to her hoping he'd get the hint to help her. Jace got the hint, but smugly smiled back at her enjoying the torture she was going through and shrugged at her pretending not to know what she was talking about. He heard her growl a little at him and he started chuckling.

It seemed the only thing Delilah could say was. "I would be delighted to." It's not that she didn't like Jace's mom, she just didn't see it inappropriate to have to meet all of his sisters.

Carol had the same smug smile on her face as her son and clapped her hands together, "Well then, I have to set it up. By the way do you have any siblings, Delilah?"

"I do not, I'm an only child."

"You're an only child!! Oh wow! You know Jace has fraternal triplet sisters."

"Triplet's? Wow. You had triplets?" Delilah was shocked. His mom didn't look like she ever birthed 3 kids at once. She looked amazing.

Jace's dad smiled proudly at his wife, "She sure did and 12 years later, we had Jace."

"Oh wow! That's quite the gap."

Jace's parents chuckled. "Tell me about it. I was shocked when I was pregnant with him. He was definitely the spoiled one."

Delilah nodded. Everything about Jace made sense to her now. He literally had everything and didn't have to worry about anything.

"Do you have any siblings, Delilah?"

"I do not, no."

"Aw, that's unfortunate. What about your parents, what do they do. They must be proud sending their daughter to Harvard." Carol was smiling awaiting Delilah's answer.

Jace got done talking to Tyler and Ashton when he caught ear of his mom and Delilah's conversation. It pleased Jace to know that his mom really liked Delilah. He didn't know why, but he was glad she was very pleased with Delilah. As his mom asked her what her parents did, Jace saw Delilah tense and hesitate a little. He frowned, wondering if she didn't get along with them. It seemed to be a sensitive topic.
