Ch.5 "Who's the new girl?"

Beep beep beep...

I woke up to the annoying alarm clock. I rolled over to turn the sound off while checking my notifications for during the night.

It was 6am which meant it was time for school, I've been dreading this day since I moved back, having to associate with people I don't even know and get judged.

At least that's what happened in Oregon, I moved there excited for a new start which I never got, I never got a chance to let people knew who I was. I was the "New Girl" and everyone treated me like a hamster in a cage, Poking, staring & pushing around. I never knew what I did but I was hated, despised even. People gave me the cold shoulder not even a week into school. I hated school, gave me anxiety, stressed me out.

I slid on light American Eagle skinny jeans with a red and white flannel with White high top converse.

On my way to school mom stopped by Dutch Brothers. It was a mini coffee stand that was way better than StarBucks,I got a Rasberry/peach blended Rebel then was off to school.

Hayes' Point Of View

Early Monday mornings were the worst. I just want to go back to the lake with that one girl that I met. Why couldn't that last?

I met up with JT and Ryan in the commons at our usual spot. Everyone knew it was our spot and I hated when people stood even close to it. I'm kind of the popular one here, everyone knows "Hayes Grier" Captain of the lacrosse and football team. #7 Baby.

I had girls all over me all the time, it was nothing new, but I have a hot girlfriend named Aubrey. She had a big butt and a curvy body, perfect for me.

"What's you do this weekend bro? You went M.I.A on us!" JT teased.

"Lake with the Fam." I laughed.

"Oh yeah? What else?" Ryan smirked.

"Well I met this girl there. She was super hot. Literally perfect body, perfect size everything. Had the prettiest brown eyes I've seen. She was really funny too" I laughed.

"Did you do anything with her?" JT asked.

"Nah man. I'm with Aubrey" I explained while taking a drink from my Gatorade while leaning up against the wall.

"Dude! You guys are so off and on. I never know! Why do you keep going back to her?" Ryan asked.

"You don't know Aubrey like I do man. She's changed" I told screwing the cap on.

"I don't know man, I heard she did stuff with Skylar this weekend. I just don't want to see you to get hurt" Ryan said looking out for us. "Yeah me either man" JT joined in.

"She's changed guys" I defended her.

Aubrey cheated on me a couple times with different guys while we were on a break and she didn't tell me. I found out myself causing us to break up. People always say she cheats on me but she wouldn't, she promised.

"Yo who's the new girl?" JT asked.

"I haven't seen her around have you Hayes" Ryan asked nodding his way in her direction.

I turned my head to look who they were talking about, I knew her, I recognized her to well.

The way her brown hair flowed down her shoulders all the way to mid stomach, The way her brown eyes sparkled. That little dimple she had when she laughed.

It was the girl from the lake..

"Dude! That's the girl I was talking about! At the lake!" I confessed.
