"Tess, I'm not going anywhere" I said hugging her tightly.

She bawled in my arms for what seemed like ever, my sweatshirt covered in tears and mascara.

My thoughts were all over the place, I didn't know anything like this could ever happen to someone like Tess. She seems so free spirited, so together. I never thought something like this would ever happen to her, she was pure.

The way she described everything that happened to her, was so vivid. Like I lived it myself, I felt so bad that I didn't know. She didn't deserve any of it. My blood began to boil, I could feel a pit inside of my stomach churning.

Tess removed herself from me and wiped her damp face, her eyes puffy red. She looked at me her eyes filled with nothing but regret and innocence. I've never once seen this side of her.

"I'm sorry, I'm a mess" She tried making the situation a little less awkward.

"No you're not. Tess, you're beautiful. What you're dad did was awful, you can't blame yourself, you did nothing wrong. I mean it, you did nothing." I reassured her.

"And Tess?" She looked down not looking me in the eye.

I lifted her chin softly trying my best to make eye contact.

"I'm not going anywhere, no matter how far you push me away, I'm not leaving" I smiled.

*Next Day*

Tess' Point Of View

Today I got to miss first and second period because I had therapy with Robin. I felt bad for leaving Hayes alone with Aubrey but, there was no way I could get out of this unless I was deathly ill im stuck. I love Robin, she gets me, but I just hate talking about it.

I walked into the reception room to see that it was empty but for the two ladies at the front desk.

"How can I help you?" The light haired girl asked.

"I have an appointment at 8:30?" It came out more as a question rather than an answer.

"Tessa?" She asked.

"I go by Tess, but yes" I offered a smile which she gladly returned.

"Go ahead and walk back, Robin is waiting"

I nodded and did as suggested.

I noticed the same walls when I was last here with my mom. She's been really distant lately and I don't know how I feel about it.

"Hey Tess! Good to see you" Robin said opening her arms for a hug.

I joined her embrace and have a light smile.

"Goodmorning"

"Goodmorning" I said back.

"How are you feeling today?"

"Tired" I answered.

"Tired? Did you not get enough sleep? Have you been sleeping well?"

"I sleep all the time" I chuckled.

"And you're still tired?"

I nodded slowly.

"How's the transition been? All these new things?"

"New. Definetley new. My school sucks. Everyone stares at me like I have an extra arm or something. The school is Huuuuge. My locker and all my classes are on two separate sides." I ranted.

"Oh yeah? Tell me about it. Why does it suck?" She asked her lips filled with pure curiosity.

"Well there's just these girls. Always staring me down, glaring. But there is one thing that makes everything worth it" I smirked.
