Witch-Li's POV:

Quickly making my way indoors after having seen Lance off to search for Alaere I ask Chronos to lend me a hand in setting the cabin back in order, I'm too worn out from my travel to do it by magic but we can't rest just yet as I look at my inventory of potions and ingredients, there are quite a few that need to be replaced and gathered. "Chronos my dear I'll be out in the gardens collecting a few ingredients I need, I'll be right back"

"I've got this taken care of, no rush I'll have this place as clean as can be and begin on making lunch. Lance will probably be back soon as well." I look at Witch-Li seeing her nod with confidence "I feel the same." She says to me before heading out.

Thankfully the gardens are still intact with the battle ground being a bit further out but I can't risk it all happening right at my doorstep a second time. I think to myself as I begin gathering my ingredients placing them into my basket. Nature is starting to settle back into it's rhythm, the birds are chirping and the smaller creatures are roaming about near me. With this I know that there is nothing lurking in the shadows for now. I head a bit further out collecting wild ingredients but duck down as I hear a noise coming up from behind me.

"Witch-Li, I've brought Alaere and her mate, I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you. Let me help carry your basket." Lance says as he hugs me gently. "Well my powers of observation are not as sharp as you Lycans" I laugh, stepping forward to hug Alaere and take a good look at her mate. I'm sure she could see the confusion pass before my face. "Did I not see Irá claim you as her mate last night before dragging you off? I'm sure my old eyes deceived me not."

Alaere gives me a somewhat nervous chuckle. "No, you saw right. There's a lot I need to go over with you if you can spare the time." I nod and usher them towards the cabin. "I don't sense any danger from you three which includes this stranger so let's go back inside and figure out the ins and outs of whats going on here."

Having come inside I ask Lance to leave the basket in my work room as we was up and get ready for lunch, "Come let's eat and settle down before we begin. I believe we should wait until our tea after the meal to go into detail on anything important." So we all take our seats and stall silently for a moment as this new stranger by the name of Leith sits in the seat that would have previously been occupied by Argos.

We take our meal silently then move to the living room with our tea and I signal Alaere to begin. With the explanation of how Leith came to be everything feels clearer. "Thank you for sharing such important information with us Alaere. Now Leith I must address you for this next part will make all the difference in you being friend or foe, your past is exactly that and no longer a part of who you are as a part of our world right now. Do you understand?"

"Yes, I do." He answers solemnly.

"Continuing on, You do not have any trace of your former self so I am certain that you would not be recognized by Prince Amaymon and the other two have ceased to exist here on earth. I must make certain that you who are of sound mind and body agree to protecting and assisting in keeping Catori and her unborn child safe from evil and any harm from this moment forward." I lock my gaze with his, taking his hand in my own facing his palm upward.

"Will you Leith Balgaire MacAra swear an oath of allegiance to remain steadfast and be a protector and teammate in this battle for the balance of good and the lives of our charges from this day forth?" He stands straight but remains focused on me as he replies with certainty in his voice. "I Leith Balgaire MacAra swear to protect and defend Catori and her unborn child, to be a loyal companion in arms to each of you and to be a devoted mate to my beloved Alaere."
