Chapter 5

You got to be kidding me? Lisa thought

The zombie stood in between Lisa and Jennie. It was looking down with its long hair hanging down, covering the face. The arms dangling out. The clothes ruined with dry blood on the shirt and pants. And a dark green skin. It was most likely a female zombie. The only thing you can hear were low groans.

Lisa and Jennie glanced at each other, sweating nervously. Beads of sweats formed at the back of Lisa's neck. One hand landed on her pocket where her gun is at. So far the zombie didn't move like a ghost. Not until she sighed softly but quietly. But that's when the zombie turned its head directly at her.

Swiftly moving the body as well. Lisa gulped. The zombie stepped a little closer. The hair was covering the eyes. But the eyes were glowing. Their faces were a few inches apart. The zombie tried to sniff her but little did it know it lost their sense of smelling. (I'll call the female zombie, 'it')

Jennie on the other hand grabbed a can from the shelve. She was about to throw the can at the aisle but the zombie backed off and turned its body back to the position it was before. And walked off slightly stumbling off. But didn't know what was in front of it. The female zombie bumped into Lisa's shopping cart but didn't care and went over it. As the zombie left their vision, they both sighed in relief.

"Are you okay?" Jennie interrogated softly. Lisa nodded.

"Perhaps we should go the opposite direction because the zombie went that way" Lisa suggested, pointing the direction where the zombie went.

"Yeah let's go this way" Jennie agreed and grabbed her basket and walked to the opposite direction preventing them from seeing that zombie again. Lisa followed suit with her shopping cart. But went to opposite directions.

Meanwhile the others, so far Alex wasn't disturbed and kept on looking for food in good condition. Chaesoo went separately. Jisoo went to aisle 9 and Chaeyoung went to aisle 10. Jisoo was in the cleaning aisle, grabbing some cleaning supplies. As for Chaeyoung was in the candy section. In her baskets were different types of candy like chocolate, gummies, sour candies and other sweets.

She also checked on the box container or bag to check if any candy is near expiration but luckily all of them were only few months away from expiring. But then again Chaeyoung could care less. Apparently in this section, the candies were left untouched. Everything seem in placed.

She picked up a bag of Hershey kisses. Licking her lips wanting to take a taste on the delicious brown liquid. Putting in the basket, she heard noises across from her. Looking up ahead moving the flashlight towards the noises. A silhouette figure walked up to the light but Chaeyoung noticed the weird movement from the silhouette figure. Moving the light at the head, she gasped. The monstrous creature growled lowly and sneered harshly.

Saliva drool down on the corner of its lips. The eyebrows pulled together not liking the lights shined on it. Lips wide out, growling through the teeth. The creature quickly ran and lounge at Chaeyoung. Falling off the ground, hitting her back at the title floor. She was caught off guard but manage to hold the zombie back. She groan a bit trying to fight off the zombie.

But the zombie snarled trying to bit her. She used her left hand to hold off the angry creature and used her right hand to tap through her pants. Feeling nothing on her pants, she moved her head to find her gun. She spotted it next to the basket she dropped. It was only 4 foot away from her. She reached out for her gun but her arm wasn't too long enough to grabbed it.

She moved her body a bit still trying to reach out but only her finger tips touched the bottom of the gun. Her finger tips tried to pulled the gun closer to her.
