"Erica Jean." I chase my daughter through the grocery store.

"Boo mommy!" She cries in joy.

"There's my little angel, come on let's get some groceries." I grin and put her in the cart.

Erica covers her eyes and I gasp pretending not to see her.

"Where's Erica?" I grin.

"Right here mommy." She does a kissy face.

I kiss her and smile gently. As much as Erica reminded me of him, she made me happier.

"Nicole, I got all the groceries." Erica's nanny, Maria, pushes a full cart towards us.

"Thank you darling." I wrap an arm around her shoulders and kiss her forehead.

"Are we going to your parents after this?" Maria smiles putting the items on the conveyor belt.

"Yes, they just adore her." My eyes drift to the ring on my finger.

After purchasing our groceries, we load the reusable insulated totes into the backseat and drive to my parents. When we arrive, my parents run out with my brothers. Derek and his pack are unaware of my movements, and our daughter's existence.

"Hey baby girl!" My dad hugs me.

"Look at my granddaughter." My mom grins picking her up.

My birth mother was still in prison.

"Gramma, I missed you." Erica grabs onto her.

Stiles and Scott hug me with big smiles.

"Where is he now?" I mumble to Scott.

"We don't know. He misses you. He's searching." Stiles looks down. Liar.

-Derek POV

Rather than moping around today, I decide I might as well get some groceries and go see Scott. After shopping, I drop off my groceries at my empty house. I shower and drive before parking at the Stilinski residence. I enter the home and see a little girl running around.

"Hey Derek, what are you doing here?" Melissa hugs me.

"Just wanted to come see Scott." I shrug not wanting to be alone.

"Who's this?" The little girl smiles innocently.

"Oh, this is-" Melissa starts, but the child's eyes widen and she sprints past me.

"Maweea!" She squeals and hugs a young woman.

"Mommy is in the car, do you want to stay here for the weekend?" The woman asks.

The little girl claps and nods. She looks like Nikki, but I don't think it could be possible.

"Go with gramma to tell your mommy while I talk to your new friend." She runs to Melissa and she looks over.

"What do you think you're doing Derek? Nicole is done with your shit." She stops mid sentence, eyes widening.

The woman in the doorway isn't the Nicole I remember. She's blonde and has a plethora of tattoos. A dress clings to her proportionately curvy frame.

"Maria, why do you have Derek pinned against the wall?" She asks making the lady release my throat.

"Thank you." I start, but she all but manages to snarl.

"You treat Maria with respect. She has been raising our daughter with me while you've been fucking other women." Her tone cuts me in half.

"Nikki-" I start, but she shakes her head silencing me.
