"Interesting. Now where's the gir-" Shibusawa turned to where Ren was, only to find it empty. "Does she think she can defy me? There is no one smarter than I am." He started raising his voice.
"Calm down."
"Well, this is my collection room. Welcome to Draconia." Shibusawa opened the door to a golden room, filled with crystallised abilities hanging in the air, each with their own individual compartment and almost glowing.
"Quite impressive." Dazai looked around.
"The devil would be jealous." Fyodor closed his eyes.
"That would make you death's rat, here to sell information to the devil. Most of this collection was gathered using information I bought from you. Thanks to you, I was able to create this massive volume of fog, large enough to engulf the whole city. But how did you gather all that information?" The room was intricately decorated, with a pillar of stained glass standing in the middle, extending up into the ceiling.
It was still fairly dark, and seemed to hold many mysteries, the souls of the people who owned the abilities still lingering in the room, watching their every move, but unable to do anything.
"Every city is filled with rats." Fyodor smiled.
"Meow." Dazai said back, as a brilliant red light began shining from one of the areas where the jewels were being kept.
"Here comes another one. Somewhere in Yokohama, a gifted has died." Shibusawa said, not realising that there was a crystal that had vanished into thin air, replaced with a hologram, flickering ever so slightly out of their sight.
Akutagawa started walking away from Atsushi and Kyouka, keeping an eye on Rashoumon as he faded away into the fog. Soon, another figure faded into the view, with the outline of a woman wearing a trench coat. The figure walked closer, revealing herself. She was wearing her white trench coat over her shoulders, with a black shirt and a gold tie along with a light grey vest and pants, and a white mask and black choker.
"Takahashi-san...?" Atsushi said slowly.
"What?" She asked, her voice cutting through the air sharply.
"How are you here? You don't have an ability..." Atsushi looked at her in disbelief.
"I knew a thing or two about what was going to happen, so I snuck into the Mukurotoride building and stole something, changed my outfit, did some spying on Shibusawa and came here. Now, I suppose your abilities are trying to kill you, so here's a word of advice. Crystal. That's all from me." She stated, turning around to walk away.
"Takahashi-san, wait-" She'd disappeared as quickly as she'd appeared and he turned to Kyouka. "Let's go."
Ren held out her arm, a blade of pure darkness emerging. She swung it around, tapping it on the ground, and it produced a jet black shadow, which, when she felt it, was ice cold. Hitting it against the car, she found it cut through it with ease, and the parts that touched the blade were covered in black. With objects where there were shadows, she could control them to pick up objects. She tried to summon larger tools, which were also effective, but went back to using the katana. The blade seemed to emanate a glow of black and she put it away, quickly making her way through the city.
"So this is the power of that woman's ability."
Chuuya kicked the door open to a room filled with computers, and people typing furiously on them. "You've got some nerve, calling me out like some takeout delivery boy." Ango stood up.
"May we have some time alone?" His subordinates rushed out of the room. "This is a government facility. You don't expect to get away with this, do you?" Chuuya stepped forward, and felt something ice cold on the back of his head.
