You are Hinata's cousin. You also play volleyball but you got injured the last months and the doctor strictly forbid you from doing tiresome activities, automatically including volleyball.
Seeing how upset you were, Hinata invited you to watch their practice after classes. You happily agreed and couldn't wait for the classes to end.
"(Y/N)! You came!" Hinata jumped in glee while your sudden interuption, caught the attention of everyone, except for two other players, one with black hair and one with blonde hair.
But the one who caught you eye was the guy with black hair. It was due to the fact that he made a perfect jump serve that instantly amazed you.
"Sugoiii!" you let go of Hinata even before he introduced you to the others.
"O-oi! (Y/N), wait--"
You forgotten everyone around you and ran towards the guy.
"That was an awesome jump service!" you jumped in awe. You did not notice the surprise etched on his face and the slight tinge of pink appearing on his cheeks.
Yours was turning pink too, but that was due to your excitement from seeing such an awesome serve.
"I'm (L/N)(Y/N). I love volleyball, do you love it too? What's your name? Are you friends with Shouyo?"
Kageyama was speechless. It was like another Hinata has appeared in front of him - only that he's a she now - and that she was much cuter.
"I-I'm-- K-kageyama Tobio. Nice to meet you." he bowed and looked away because you were still staring at him with those excited eyes.
"Oi, (Y/N)." Shouyo was poking you but you told him to wait and continued to bombard Kageyama with your questions, mostly about volleyball.
"Isn't that also Hinata in a girls body?" Daichi said which the other third year heard.
"Definitely. She's so jumpy and excited like Hinata." Sugawara chuckled while they watched you ignore Hinata while you talked with a pre-frozen and stuttering Kageyama.
"Doesn't this scene look a bit familiar though... Someone being ignored and only two persons talking." Sugawara snickered while remembering their first meeting with Kageyama and Hinata.
"Y-yeah... should we stop them?" Daichi put his hand behind his neck and scratched it thoughtfully.
"Let them be!" Sugawara laughed again.
"What were you talking about?" Asahi asked.
In the background, Nishinoya and Tanaka were already planning on making acquaintance with a pretty girl like you.
