Yamaguchi Tadashi - Confessions

You got used to Yamaguchi and Tsukishima's presence during lunch period. 

You already considered them as your friends even without a verbal assurance. The more that you spent time with him, the more that you've fallen for him. 

Tsukishima knew your feelings for his friend since the beginning. He usually made fun of it in front of Yamaguchi which makes you into a blushing mess. 

Yamaguchi on the other hand, misunderstood Tsukishima's teasing and your reactions. He liked being with you and like seeing you everyday but he did not like how Tsukishima was always able to make you blush. 

He thought that the two of you like each other. Just to make sure, he confronted Tsukishima. If he really does like then he'll try to supress his own feelings because he did not want both of you to get hurt. 

"Tsukki." He called when you left to buy your lunch. 

Tsukishima was listening and he saw how Yamaguchi was gripping his chopsticks hard. 

"Hmm?" 

Yamaguchi wasn't looking straight at him but he wanted Tsukishima to take his question seriously so he finally did. 

"Do you like, (Y/N)?" 

[Tsukishima: Is he serious?] 

Tsukishima studied Yamaguchi's expression. 

"No." He simply answered which taken Yamaguchi aback. 

"T-then why do you keep flirting with her?" he asked, his hand still gripping the chopsticks and the other hand clenched above the table. 

"Pfft. I am not flirting with her." Tsukishima scoffed then rolled his eyes after seeing Yamaguchi's disbelief. "Tch. And I'm not playing with her feelings if that's what you think." 

"But she likes you." Yamaguchi muttered quietly but Tsukishima heard. 

He clicked his tongue once again and glared at his friend's stupidity. 

"No she does not; but I'm 100% sure who she likes." 

Yamaguchi's eyes widened. "W-who?" 

"Ask her yourself. Tch." Tsukishima took his bento box. "I'm going to Yachi-san's classroom. Go on and ask (Y/N)." 

Tsukishima did not even look back and he even met you half way out the door. 

You're eyes were furrowed with your lunch in your hand. 

"What happened to him? He's got an annoying smirk there." You frowned. 

Yamaguchi was watching you sit down in front of him. 

"W-what? Is there something in my face?" you asked and checked your face for anything out of the ordinary. 

"Do you like Tsukki, (Y/N)-chan?" he began and you already choked on your food. 

"T-that's a crazy thing to ask. Of course not!" you grimaced and almost looked disgusted at the thought. 

Yamaguchi felt relieved. Your face tells him you're saying the truth. 

"What made you ask that?" you ask, still shivering at his question. 

"I was wondering who you like..." he blushed not looking at you. He was playing with his food using his chopsticks. 

You stared at him and thought of what to say. Why was he asking? Why was he curious? You put down your own food and exhaled. 

"I like Yamaguchi-kun." 

He's eyes widened and he lost grip of the chopsticks that it fell down the floor. He stumbled in getting it and when he tried to stand up, he hit his head on the table. 

"Oww..." 

"Oh my gosh, are you alright?" you asked worried while putting your hand in the part of his head that bumped the table. 

"I-I'm okay. I'm okay." He said before covering his face with his hand. 

You noticed the blush on his face and felt the blush on yours too. You remembered how flustered you were during your first time meeting. This was much worse. 

You laughed and sat down again. 

"I thought I'd be more embarrassed but... seeing you blushing like that, I think I'm okay." You giggled. 

"Do you really mean that?" he asked after he composed himself. 

You nodded as he sat down. 

"I like (Y/N)-chan, too." 

It was your turn too cover your face. You didn't expect for him to say it that way. You were a blushing mess again. 

Tsukishima suddenly appeared and his bento box already empty. He sat down his desk that was beside Yamaguchi's. 

"Told you so. Now don't go being lovey-dovey in front of me or I'll separate the two of you." He said then brought out his comics. 

Yamaguchi looked at you and you at him. He just smiled but it already made your heart melt. You were so happy that day.
