Ever since Asahi had saved you from the scary looking guys, you’ve grown to like him. He seemed kinda scary in one look but the truth is, he’s a just a big softie who has a very fragile heart. You found that out when you decided to give him a gift as thanks for saving you.
You made him a box of homemade onigiri which you decided to give to him during their volleyball practice.
You found him getting scolded by a guy not taller than you and Asahi looked like he was scared himself. You found it cute how he seems so fragile-hearted.
You began to fall in love with him when he started to constantly check on you, making sure you have someone to walk home with when its already dark and sometimes, he volunteers to walk you home.
It was one of those late night walks that he confessed to you. You did not expect him to be the first one to ask you out but you were glad nonetheless. Although it wasn’t exactly him who did the asking for a date.
“(Y/N)-san... I was just thinking-- I-I... would y-you-- d-do you t-think w-we could--”
“JUST GET ON WITH IT AND ASK HER ON A DATE!!!”
Both of you jumped from shock.
“Oi oi! Be quiet, Nishinoya!”
“You’re being loud too, Tanaka.”
“Shut up! The three of you!”
“Ehh... but you’re not shutting up either, Daichi.”
You could only laugh awkwardly from hearing the voices behind a big fence. Asahi also looked embarrassed and was rubbing the back of his head as if in an apology.
“W-well... The fence gave it away. Hehe. Will you go on a date with me, (Y/n)-san?”
You gave him a big smile and nodded. “I would love to, Asahi-san!”
After that, you initiated the first move of holding his hand. The two of you walked together with hands intertwined and the four high school boys left forgotten behind the big fence - where a big black dog was waiting to pounce on them.
