Yamaguchi Tadashi OS - Insecure

'The number you are calling is currently unavailable. Please try again later.'

"Come on, Tadashi. Why aren't you picking up?" you whined looking at Yamaguchi's contact picture as you tried to call his number again, hoping it was just coincidence he passed by an area with no signal.

"Hasn't answered yet?" your tall blonde friend asked.

"His number's unavailable."

It was already three days since the start of spring break after your first year in high school and you haven't seen Yamaguchi yet. You miss you freckled boyfriend so much that you decided to see him yourself if you won't be able to reach him through the phone. Unfortunately, his mom said that Yamaguchi just left and she thought he'd be going out with you.

It made you dread that you've done something wrong or the two of you are starting to grow apart.

"You sure you haven't seen him, Kei?" you asked Tsukishima again through the phone.

"I promise, I would have told you, (Y/N). Are you by chance... suspecting him?" your friend asked with a careful tone.

You fiddled the hem of your shirt with your fingers as you sighed and shook your head.

"I almost did but I trust Tadashi. He's not like that."

"Right. Have you checked the park nearby their house? He likes staying there."

"I already went there earlier but--"

"(Y/N)."

"I think I know where he is. I'll text you later, Kei."

"Ok."

'Why did not I check that large pipes?'

When you and Yamaguchi first went to that park together as a couple, he mention he liked hiding inside the huge pipes found in one corner of the park. He said it used to be a comfortable hiding place whenever his bullies went after him before he met Tsukishima. You realized he could still fit in there and its the only place you could think of.

Running out of breath, you paused to make sure the pipes were still there and to your relief, you remembered well as they were indeed huge enough to let Yamaguchi fit inside.

You walked towards the pipes while praying that Yamaguchi was there because God knows how much you miss him already.

"Tadashi?" you called but there was no answer. "Tadashi, are you there?"

You walked further and when you reached one end of a pipe, you immediately caught sight of a curled up Yamaguchi who had his face buried on his knees where his arms were wrapped around.

You suddenly felt a pang in your heart to see him like that. Was he being bullied again? Is there something you've done or said?
