Broken (Carl Grimes)

Chapter 4

As weeks go on of staying in the prison things just keep getting worse. There's some type of sickness going around, we lost a lot of people, someone burnt two people Alive, Savannah and Taylor are together, then there's me and Carl. Not much is going on with us. We are good friends I guess. That's it. I'm starting to get to know him more and more. We have alot in comman. For example, we both like reading. And we both like chocolate.  Oh and music. I showed him my phone and he like fell in love with it.

I walk down the shelf looking for food. I put everything in the bag that is good. I go to the candy spot and slip a bunch of candy. Ya know for those special times when you just need candy.  I go to the woman section and get some stuff the other girls might need. I find a comic book sitting on the shelf. I pick it up and look at it. I think its the one that Carl has been looking for. I put it in my bag and start scanning the shelves again.

"You know, your a very pretty lady. "

I turn around and see Shane.

I say " Oh, thanks. Shouldnt you be doing your job? "

He says " I did. My bags full. Got some stuff for when Beth turn to a new guy ya know. "

I say " Thats sick. Shes only 17. You wont touch her. "

He says " Ill do what i want. "

I turn to look at him with a gun in my hand.

I say "Leave me alone.. If you try something like this again, i will kill you. And thats not a warning. Thats a promise. "

I grab the last pack of pads off the shelf and walk away. I put them in my bag thats now almost full. I go over to some clothes i see. I grab as much of them as i can and put it in my bag. I zip my bag up and start walking out to the car to get another bag. I push open the doors to the cleared out walmart and go to the car thats parked right outside the door. I open the trunk and set my bag down iside and grab a new one. I go back inside walmart and nod at Daryl. He nods back. I go inside and go to the pharmacy. I grab a bunch of medicien and fill my bag with that. I add a few pony tail holders and bobby pins. I make my way back to the front and wait with Daryl,

He says " So what all did you get? "

I say " Well, i got some food, some girl things, some clothes, and a lot of medicien.  "

He says " Sounds good. "

I say " What did you get? "

He says " Food. Water. Oh and candy. "

My head turn when i hear footsteps. I see Carl.

I say " Hey there sherriff. "

I tap the end of his hat. He smiles at me and sets his bag down next to him.

He says " I got us some candy. "

I say " What kind? "

He says " A lot of different kinds. I know i got my favorite. "

I say " I couldnt find my favorite. "

He says "Well whats your favorite? "

I say " Cherry sours. "

He says " Mine to. "

I say " So you got some!! "

He says " Yeah a lot. "

He reaches in his bag and tosses me a bag.

I say "Awesome! Thank you! "

I open the bag and pop one into my mouth. I offer Daryl a handful. He takes them and starts eating them.

Now that Carl is here, were waiting on Shane, Rick and Michonne.

Carl says " Hey Allicia i got you something. I had to specially make it but still i got you something, "

I look at him.

I say " Yeah well whats that. "

He walks up to me and smiles.

He says " Hold out your hand and close your eyes. "

I do as im told. I feel his hand go around my wrist and then metal his my wrist. He lets go of my wrist.

He says " You can open your eyes now. "

I slowly open my eyes and look down at my wrist. Its a beautiful braclet with charms on it. Theres a music charm, a dog charm, and heart charm, a cupcake charm, and a movie charm. Its beautiful. I look Carl in the eyes and pull him into a hug.

I say " Its beautiful Carl. I love it. Thank you so much. "

He wraps his arms around me and completes the hug. I smile and pull back. I keep looking at the bracelet. I really do love it.

"Allicia move. "

I turn to look at Carl like hes crazy.

I say "What?"

He says " Just move. Over here behind me. Slowly."

I turn to look at what hes looking at. I see a man with a gun.

"Dont you move. Or i will shot you. "

I look him in the eyes and nod. He has a gun pointed at me. Carl and Daryl has a gun pointed at him.

Daryl says " Your out numbered. Might as well give up. "

"Aint no way im giving up. "

I quickly hear a shot get fired and then another. I feel a really bad pain in my stomach. I put my hand over it and see blood get on my fingers. My eyes go wide as i relise what happened.

"Allicia no!! "

I fall to my knees holding the gun shot wound. I see a blurry Rick come into view. I see Carl and Daryl but there all blurry. I start falling and hit the ground hard. I close my eyes and listen to the things around me.

"Allicia, hang in there. We will get you help. Dont worry. Everything is going to be okay because your stong. "

I feel my head get rested in someone lap. I open my eyes and see Carl looking down at me with worried eyes. I look to my left and everyhting goes black.
