Chapter 11

The next few days go by fast. I think where leaving the house soon. 

Right now im in the house. Lizzie is outside, Mika is in the house with the rest of us. I trust Lizzie to scream or something if something is possing a threat to her. I walk past the door and stop in my tracks. Lizzie is letting a walker chase her. I quickly run to go get Carol. I grab her sleeve and pull her to the door. We both take off running. I tackle the walker to the ground and Carol kills it.

" What are you doing! She's my friend! L ook what you did! LOOK WHAT YOU DID! SHE WAS MY FRIEND AND NOW SHES GONE! "

I scream "  YOU ARE NOT GONNA TALK TO HER THAT WAY. WE SAVED YOUR LIFE LIZZIE. SHE WAS NOT YOUR FRIEND. FRIENDS DONT TRY TO EAT EACH OTHER! ARE YOU STUPID! DONT EVEN PULL SOMETHING LIKE THAT AGAIN! "

I feel my face getting red and i just let all my anger out on her. I suddenly feel guilty.

I say " Im uhmm im gonna take a walk."

Carol says " Dont go far. "

I nod and start walking out and doing nothing but thinking.

I have been gone for about and hour. Its almost dark. I feel horrible for going off on Lizzie like that. I didnt mean to it just happened. I jump over the fence and walk in the direction of the house and see two more crosses that i never noticed. I walk in the house and see Carol, Tyreesse, and Judith.

I say " Where's Lizzie and Mika? "

They both turn to me with shocked faces.

I say " Did i miss something? "

She says " There was a heard of walkers. We thought that you. "

I say " No im here. Never saw a heard of walkers. Just a few straglers. So where's Lizzie and Mika? "

Tyresse says " They uhh they didnt make it. "

I say " Oh. Okay. "

I look down and sigh. More people gone. Seems like thats all that this world is now a days. Meet strangers, care for them, then they get ripped away from you.

Carol says " Ill take watch tonight hunny. You have for the past two nights. Get some sleep. "

I say " I can do it. I dont have a problem. "

She says " You need sleep. You look terrible. "

I say " Fine. "

I lay down in my window bench and Carol covers me up with a blanket. She gives me a folded up blanket for a pillow and sits next to me to take watch.

I say " So what happened with Lizzie and Mika? "

She says "Me and Tyreese went to go get water. We came back and saw Mika on the ground. Lizzie had a bloody knife in her hands. She killed Mika and kept saying that she will come back and be okay. I shot Lizzie she wasnt safe to be around and i thought it was for the best. Im also the one that burnt the people. "

I say " I understand. "

She says "you okay? "

I say " The other day. Lizzie told me that when she gets older that she wants to be like me. She wants to protect Mika. I just cant believe she killed her. "

Carol says " Things like this happen. "

I say " I know. Seems like life is all about death now. "

She says " Its most defiantly full of it. "

I say " Thats for sure. "

She says " You need sleep. Go to bed. "

I say " Yeah. "

I lay my head on the blanket and slowly fall asleep.

I wake up to Carol shaking me.

She says " Come on, get your stuff we got to move. Make it close to Terminus.  "

I nod and get up i redo my hair and grab my bag. I through my blanket in it and put it over my shoulder. We go ou and start walking some more. 

~Carl's POV~

I hope Allicia isnt here or on her way. Terminus isnt safe. There cannables. I just hope its not to late for her. I wish i would of said i loved her back. I didnt because i was scared. Last time i said i loved someone they made out with someone else. I dont think Allicia would do that. I really like her and i dont know what i would do if she's gone forever. I have a feeling she's not gone. She's still alive but for how long? I dont know. 

" You okay? "

I look up and see my dad. He sits next to me and looks at me.

I say " Just hoping Allicia is out there alive somewhere and not here. "

He says " you like her dont you? "

I say " Yeah  I do. A lot. I think i love her dad. "

He smiles at me and puts his hand on my shoudler. 

He says " We will find her thats a promises. I will make sure of it. "

I nod at him and give him a small smile. 

I sure hope he keeps his promise and nothing messes it up. I would do anything in the world in order to tell her i loved her as well. To feel her lips against mine or to call her mine. I dont know why i waited so long. I knew something was gonna happen with the Govenor. I should have been smarter and told her how i feel before. Maybe then i wouldnt feel so bad. She knew something was gonna happen and she took the chance she had to tell me, why coulnt i have did the same thing?

" Hey son, stop thinking so much about it. Shes okay. "

I say " I hope so. "
