Broken (Carl Grimes)

Chapter 14

I wake up to voices. Im alone in the room and im scared.

" I know your in there. Just come out. "

I stand up and slowly walk to the door. I open it and look into the church. I stop and stare when i see it.  A bunch of people.

One says " See this girl is smart. "

I say " Who are you? "

I reach down and pull up my gun out of my boot. 

He says " Im Garett. Who are you? I havent seen you. "

I say " Allicia. What are you doing here. Wheres my family? "

He says " You know i was hoping you could help me with that one. But it seems like you dont know. "

I say " What are you doing here? "

He says " Looking for someone. Some people. "

He does some motions and people start walking to the other room like the one i was in. I keep my gun placed pointing at Garret. The door opens and theres the rest of my family. Well theres Carl, Judith, Kyle, Tyreese, and Maggie. My face softens and then i hear it.

Rick screams some stuff and then theres a battle going on. I back away and i feel arms get around me. I lightly scream and turn around ready to fight until i see Carl.

I say " You scared me. "

He pulls me back into the room i was in and he sets me down.

He says " There going to die out there. "

I say " Well yeah. "

 He says  " You wouldnt wake up. I had no choice to leave you there. Im sorry. "

I say " Its okay. No one got hurt. Thats all that matters. "

His face changes.

I say " Who got hurt? "

He says " Bob. He was bit and they cut his leg off and ate it. "

I i gag and look at him.

I say " Thats nasty. "

He says "  Yeah. "

I say " So Bob is dead? "

He says "  In the process. There gonna do it soon. "

I say " Oh. "

I lookdown and sigh. I wasnt close to Bob at all but its still another part of the family gone. Daryl and Carol still havent came back either. That kinda worries me. I kinda miss Daisies company to. I wonder if she is still alive. Daryl would be so happy if she was. 

I lay inbetween Carl's legs and lean back onto his chest. He wraps his arms around my waist and we just stay there. 

He says " You know, i love you right? "

I say " Of course. You know i love you right? "

He says " Yeah. "

I say " Good. "

He says " Where going on a run tommorow. Wanna go? "

I say " Yeah sure i would love to. "

He smiles and kisses my head. 

He says " Then why dont we get some sleep. "

I say " Sleep sounds great. "

I reach over and grab a blanket. I cover us up and we lay down next to each other. I grab a pillow and hand it to him. I lay my head on his chest and he wraps his arms around me. I instantly feel safe and not worried about whats going on.
