"Any plans for this weekend?" Eddy piped up, wiggling his eyebrows towards his friend's direction. Eddy Price stood pretty tall; his body lean but holding some muscle that was needed. Dark brown hair was styled nicely atop his head, allowing his sharp brown eyes to glance towards his coworker as he waited patiently for his coffee.

Mia Porter could only roll her eyes towards Eddy, smiling softly as she glanced towards her phone to check the time. Both her and Eddy worked as receptionists for the city's biggest law firm and during their time working together had become close friends. The weekend had finally come and with everything finished, Mia had a date that she looking forward to.

"Actually, yes. I have a date this Saturday night." Mia smiled, glancing towards Eddy to see him glancing at her from the corner of his eye as he sipped at his beverage. Taking a big gulp, he lowered it and continued to walk on.

"Oh, a date? Don't make me play mom and see if this guy is okay." He playfully joked; his attention being grabbed by the newspaper stand they were walking by. Each shelf was packed with different events but one that had Eddy stopping was one that was written just last week.

ANOTHER BANK ROBBED: ROBBERS STILL AT LARGE

The past subject completely seemed to disappear as Eddy's lips pressed into a thin line, skimming over the article before setting it back. "I read about this. Freaking six banks have been robbed and the police feel like they're chasing a ghost." Shaking his head, they continued on with walking. Compared to Eddy, Mia was a just a bit shorter, a thin body with dyed blonde hair that ran past her shoulders in waves. She was more a gentle soul, and one that would rather curl up in a big blanket to read a book than go rock-climbing.

They continued with their walk, Eddy beginning to grill her about the guy for tomorrow's date. If there was any question that someone would have asked, he asked. What Mia's saving grace was from the never-ending questions was seeing the bank ahead Smiling she turned towards Eddy, causing him to stop and raise his eyebrows in question.

"I need to actually transfer some stuff to my account, mind if we stop here?" She wasn't really giving him a choice as she made her way to cross the street, Eddy having to break into a jog to catch up.

When entering, Mia was happy to see there wasn't a large line of people. Stepping into line, she grabbed at her phone to check on some texts while Eddy went and took a seat in the lobby, eyes scanning over the building as he continued to sip at his coffee. The lobby was large, tall white walls running up the sides with pictures and plants pushed into corners. Large lights hung above, casting a steady light over the room. He let his eyes glanced towards the entrance to the front doors as they opened. The gentle silence only lasted seconds before a gun shot went off, three masked men following soon after with guns drawn and pointed towards everyone.

The coffee cup slipped from Eddy's hand as one of the men took a few steps towards him, gun drawn as the men started yelling orders.

"Get on the ground!" He felt as though his brain was still trying to catch up with what was happening as the man who was approaching him was suddenly in front of him, latex covered hand roughly grabbing his shoulder and sending him harshly to the ground.

It was then that it felt like a train of the situation hit him, his eyes snapping over to see Mia and the few she stood in line with all quickly went down as the second man shot another round into the ceiling. The third man was already towards the clerks, his voice however calm as he kept his gun trained on the three clerks who stood before him.

"Hands up my friends. You so much and reach for that button, I have bullets with each of your names personally written on them."

Not taking his eyes off them, he snapped his latex finger towards the second man who stood close to Mia and the others. The first one remaining close to Eddy and the others. A look out for any trouble. They were each quick, the second one getting behind the desk in seconds with no problem, causing a few of the bank clerks to step away from him.
