"Stay with them while I get Keaton inside."

Mia had woken up just minutes before the car had come to a stop. Her body rested against the backseat while she listened intently to everything around her. Multiple car doors slammed closed; the leader who had been called Niall, leaving the car with their injured partner. This left silence to fill the small space between the three that were inside, two of which had no choice in the matter.

Mia soon heard something shifting close to her, a foot kicking at hers, disappearing again quickly. It seemed Eddy was attempting to sit up. Having a blindfold still tied around her head made her feel extremely uneasy at not being able to see what was happening. Just as she was starting to get lost in her thoughts, she was pulled back to the sound of the trunk being opened, the breeze from outside nipping at her skin. Hesitating a moment, she pushed herself back further against the chair frame.

"What are you planning to do with them?" Ian spoke up from behind, unmoving. Mia could hear small shuffling, unaware of anything around her, unable to see Ian's hand on Eddy's shoulder to keep him lying. Thankfully, she was blindfolded; which was one less worry, considering she couldn't see the intimidating gun resting with ease in the other.

"Just help me get them inside first and we'll go from there. We have some stuff we need to go over." Anger laced Niall's voice before Mia felt a hand grasping her ankle and pull her forward. She let out a surprised yell, struggling to pull away.

Niall didn't give their scared hostage a chance. His movements were quick; grabbing her by one of her elbows and dragging her out the rest of the way. His actions successfully forcing her to her feet besides him.

He didn't give Mia time to process what was happening before starting to walk, making his prisoner follow and blindly trust his direction. Feet scribbling in the dirt, she felt him guide her up some steps, remaining quiet. Suddenly, the cold breeze from outside was replaced with a musty draft. They were now inside a house. She was led across the room quickly, being guided to the floor a moment later to sit against the wall. Once she was seated, she felt Niall's hands working at the knot to her blindfold, before it fell away.

Once her eyes had gotten adjusted, the first one she made eye contact was with the injured robber. He was sitting on the edge of the couch just feet away. The shirt he wore was torn and covered in blood-covered. It seemed to be acting as a torn tourniquet where the gunshot was. From there, a thick white bandage wrapped around the overtop. The robber had his forehead resting in the palm of his hand, yet his face was staring directly back at her.

The eye contact was held for a short moment, silence temporarily engulfing them, before Mia saw Eddy being forced in by Ian. Ian was much more careless with Eddy, forcing his body to crash into the ground next Mia when they approached close. Reaching over, Ian grabbed the blindfold that was around Eddy's face; removing it harshly and placing it in his pocket. Mia turned to look at Eddy, his own frightened soul windows locking back with hers.

Despite the heavily bruised skin that was around his nose and forming under his eyes, she could tell at that moment he was much more concerned about her than he was himself.

"What are we going to do with them?" Ian's voice broke through the pregnant silence, forcing both Eddy and Mia to focus on the speaking captor.

Ian didn't pay any mind, moving to stand beside a table that was shoved in a corner, one of the black duffle bags of money shoved on it. He glanced inside, before turning his attention to Niall. The deep creases at the sides of his eyes appeared to be the result of overthinking. Niall's glare moved towards the direction of their hostages, taking in every attention to their appearance before he pushed off the wall.
