Nathe/Thalia's POV
"Whoooo! Cheeeeers guys!" Pasigaw na saad ni Jay saka itinaas ang baso niyang puno ng beer at nakipag cheers.
"CHEERS!" Sabay-sabay na sigaw namin. Nanalo ako sa pustahan namin at libre ni Jay ang inumin ng buong barkada.
Linggo ngayon kaya walang pasok. Galing kami sa Trimo, nakipag racing sa mga sikat na racer pero sa huli, ako ang nanalo.
"Why so stupid Jay? Why would you freaking bet in favor of Del Quero? Do you still want another match between Nathe and Del Quero?" Tanong ni Timothy kay Jay.
"Why would I? Huh? That Del Quero is very known for being monster in race track. I did not expect Nathe to win that's why I didn't put my bet on him." Saad ni Jay.
Tumikhim ako, is he really that good? I admit that he's good but it's easy for me to defeat him.
Blake laughed.
"Dude, next time, put your bet on Nathe. You already know that Nathe is undefeated yet you still chose Del Quero." Saad ni Blake.
Yeah right, tahimik lang akong nakikinig sa kanilang usapan habang umiinom.
"As I said morons, I did not expect Nathe to win especially that his right arm is injured. I know you guys are familiar of Del Quero he's a beast. He's internationally famous because of his racing skills." Papuri ni Jay kay Del Quero.
Atlas Magno Del Quero? I heard a lot of things about him but I don't pay attention, he's not that really important to me.
"Seriously dude? You're the one who's moron. You know Nathe, one hand or two hands it doesn't matter to him. As long as he gets to hold the steering wheel, he's good to go." Saad naman ni Drake.
Sumisimsim ako ng alak ko nang biglang kumandong sa'kin si Cindy, my current girlfriend.
"Hi babe." She winked at me.
"I'm looking for you earlier but I can't seem to find you. Where did you go?" I asked her.
"Oh I just had fun with my friends right there." Tinuro niya kung saan siya dumaan kanina.
Naningkit ang mga mata ko.
"Really? No boys involved?" Tanong ko sabay kuha ng bote ng beer at nilagok.
"Yup." She answered then hugged me. Hinaplos ko ang hita niya habang yakap niya ako.
Bumitaw siya sa yakap at sinimangutan ako.
"Stop teasing me Nathe. We both know that you can't even have s'x with me." Busangot ang mukhang saad niya.
"Aren't you happy that I'm not after your body?" Saad ko na ikinalukot lalo nang mukha niya.
"But I have needs." Reklamo niya.
"We both have needs Cindy but you do know that I'm not that kind of guy." Paliwanag ko.
"Yeah right. I always wonder why you don't like intimacy. While other guys would do everything just to get into a woman's pants." Nanliit ang mga mata niya.
"Well? I'm not those other guys." Natigilan siya pero agad ding nakabawi.
"Even if that girl wants you? Even if I want you? I think there's something wrong about you." kinabahan ako sa sinabi niya.
"I always notice that there are many girls who tried to flirt with you but they always end up dismayed." She looked at me like she's reading me.
