☆Y/N POV☆
"You may now kiss the bride," the marriage officiant said. Charlie and I smile at each other before leaning into each other's lips. Sparks flew all around us, and I know everyone else felt them too. Charlie and I have been dating since our senior year of high school. I knew from the moment I saw him that he was the one. We pulled away and looked at each other.
"Kiss me again," Charlie whispered. I just giggled and pulled him back in for another kiss. Our families continued to celebrate in happiness for the two of us. I pulled away this time and grabbed his hand as we walked back up the aisle.
The photographer took tons of pictures of the two of us. Charlie and I couldn't stop laughing even when the photographer asked us to stay serious for a few shots. Of course it's hard to remain serious, especially since Charlie and I are best friends. What's crazy is that we're now husband and wife.
"I can't stop smiling," I whispered to Charlie as I wrapped my arms around his neck. Charlie just chuckles a bit, kissing me for the millionth time today. I could hear the photographer's camera go off.
Charlie pulls away and whispers back, "I know, me either."
After we finished taking pictures, Charlie and I went into the room where we had our after-party. We had family come up and toast to us. It was genuinely the best day of my life.
Music began playing, and we all got up to dance. Charlie and I had our first dance. He had his arms wrapped around me, swaying to the music.
"This kind of reminds me of our high school prom," I tell Charlie in the middle of our dance.
"Yeah, it kind of does," Charlie laughs as he twirls me.
After our dance was done, I danced with my father while Charlie danced with his mom. It was very emotional for both of us.
Once the dances were over, Charlie led me outside to get some fresh air; the rest of our families were dancing. We both sat down on the bench in silence. However, it was not an awkward silence.
"My gosh, you're so beautiful," I heard Charlie gush. I looked up to see him smiling and staring at me. Even though we're already married, this boy never fails to make me blush.
"I love you, Charlie," I exclaimed with a wide smile.
