☆Y/N POV☆
"What the hell is your problem?" I yell, frustrated at the attitude Elias has been giving me the past couple of days. I had finally had enough, and now I'm just done with it.
"You are!" Elias yells back. Tears of frustration appear in my eyes, and I try my hardest to hold them back.
"You can't just lose your temper and blame it on me every time you get upset, Elias! I'm not your fucking stress ball!"
"Why do you always make it about yourself?"
"I make everything about myself? Coming from the person who is picking a fight with me for no reason whatsoever!"
"Of course there's a reason!"
"What is it?"
"You're just not the same anymore!" Elias screamed. Not to sound dramatic, but I felt the world stop spinning. I stared into Elias' eyes.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I ask in a calm voice, yet I would explode like a time bomb if anyone moved.
"You've changed. You're not the same person I started dating. I just miss the old you."
I took a deep breath and gave him a tight-lipped smile.
"Well, good thing we're not dating anymore, so you don't have to worry about my sudden change. Goodbye, Elias," I said and turned around to leave his apartment. I could hear Elias sigh and try to apologize, but I shut him up quickly.
"Sorry doesn't fix everything. Goodbye," I said and closed the door to his apartment.
A week has passed, and I still haven't talked to Elias. He has left me messages after messages, but I refused to look at any of them. So my poor friends have had to deal with a moping version of myself, and they've had enough of it because today, we're throwing a small get-together at my good friend's place. The downside is that this good friend is a mutual of Elias, so we're bound to run into one another at this party. Trust me, I've tried to get out of it, but my friends are dragging me there whether I like it or not.
"I still don't understand why I have to do this," I said, running my hands along my outfit to try and get rid of the wrinkles.
"Because we're sick of hearing you mope about Elias," my friend said in response. "Listen, I know how stubborn you are to admit it, but we all know you miss Elias. No matter how much you claim to be over him, you're so obviously not."
When we walked inside, I immediately spotted Elias. I gulped down my saliva out of nerves and saw him walk up to me. I turned around to try and dodge his advances.
"Y/N, will you stop, please?" Elias asked softly. I decided to turn around and listen to what he had to say.
"What?"
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have projected all of my anger on you. I love you more than I love life itself. I promise to never get like that with you ever again; I have learned my lesson. I can't live without you. So please, forgive me?" he asked, tears welling up in his eyes. I looked up at him and stared into his eyes. I wish I could stay mad at him, but I can't. He's just too perfect for me.
"Fine, I forgive you," I said, holding my arms out for him to walk into. When he did, I held onto him tightly.
