Written: August 2019close your eyes
picture miles and miles of lilac fields
feel the wind in your hair
and the sun's reflection in your pupils
as it drops below the horizon
off into the distance, there's a crystal lake
pearly white swans whistle familiar tunes
the trees bear crimson leaves
that sing with the wind as night falls
turn around, do you see what I see?
make a wish
open your eyes
blow out the candles
