I woke up Thursday with a sore neck. Then I remembered, Marcie would be here after school. I sank my head back onto the pillow and closed my eyes. I heard my door creak open. I opened my eyes slightly to see Astora creeping over to my bed getting ready to scare me. Suddenly I opened my eyes all the way and sat up, making her jump about two feet in the air.

She put her hand over her heart and let her breath out. "Don't do that to me! You nearly gave me a heart attack." I smiled devilishly. "I know." She mock frowned at me before stepping back outside the room and closing the door behing her. I hopped out of bed and pulled on a black sweater and jeans. I fastened the locket around my neck and grabbed my bookbag before running downstairs to the kitchen.

I sat down at the kitchen table and started eating the cereal Astora set in front of me. Then I looked over at her mischeviously. "Astora, are you sure you'll be okay with me , Marcie and Juliette giggling all night tonight?" She turned around and leaned backwards on the counter. "I won't mind it, but Cass might tape you to the ceiling." I smiled at her joke. She chuckled. "It's true. She did it to me when we were younger." I stopped giggling. "You and Cass were friends as kids?" My mouth hung open. She sashayed over and closed it. "Yes. We were the best friends a pair of friends could be. We're twins." My mouth hung open again. "We used to look exactly alike. Cass dyed her hair and gained weight in an attempt to not look like me. But, if you look closely, you can see the similarities in our faces." She put her finger on her lips before calling for Cass.

As Cass came into the room, I could immediatly see the similarities, now that I knew about them. "You... you... you're sisters!!" Cass looked at the floor before nodding. "Yes. Under all this, I look just like her." She gestured to her sister.

"I don't know why I'm surprised. You two look really alike if you know about the differences." Cass gave her sister a dirty look. "You weren't supposed to tell her." Then I covered my mouth in an attempt not to puke. I ran to the bathroom and puked into the toilet. I walked back into the kitchen holding my stomach and to my surprise, both Astora and Cass looked concerned. "Do you want to stay home today?" Astora asked catiously. I shook my head, no. Cass chose just then to speak up. "Too bad. If you're sick, I don't want you getting other people sick too."

So, I slunk back to my room and sat on my bed, ready to endure the time until Marcie arrived. I switched my position until I got comfortable, laying down with my head on the soft, swirly pillow. I stared out the window at Juliette's room and dreamed of introducing her to Marcie as I slowly fell asleep.
