TW: Sexual assault mention, self harm

Sherlock now knew that he was carrying a clump of cells that was created unwillingly in him. His dysphoria has gotten worse and in all honestly he was a mess. Mycroft was so worried about Sherlock. The boy had gotten back into self harm which was horrifying for Mycroft.
Sherlock struggles to find job opportunities. He had gotten many requests to be a chemist at labs for making medicine but Sherlock found himself not wanting a job as dull as that.

Sherlock left the place where he had just aborted the cells. Mycroft helped him hide his face from the protesters outside the clinic and to the shiny black car. Sherlock day in the seat and stared out the window.
"Bumblebee you alright?" Mycroft asked cautiously. Looking to his brother. Sherlock sighed.
"A job" he answered.
"A what?"
"A job, Mycroft I need a job!" Sherlock exclaimed throwing his hands up in the air.
"I thought many labs asked you to be a chemist for them?" Mycroft asked confused. Why was Sherlock so worked up over getting a job he had gotten requests.
"I just don't want to do those. I want something more thrilling." Sherlock answered. The two brothers were silent on their way home.

Sherlock was walking down a street, a coffee in hand. He had just gone to one of the labs and had been thoroughly disappointed. It was so dull he could barely stand it in their quiet, peaceful lab. He groaned as he sat down on a bench. He saw someone walk by he had grey hair, a suit, and was obviously a tired detective inspector.
"Can I sit here?" He asked, Sherlock nodded.
"Trying case?" Sherlock asked trying to make some small talk it was awkward otherwise.
"Yeah... hold on how do you know that?!" The detective seemed confused as to how Sherlock had gotten his hands on the information.
"I did not know I observed and quite correctly I assume. Let's start with the detective part, you have the imprint of a badge in your pocket and your wearing formal clothes. You also had a tad bit of blood on your pant leg. You have a belt which holds a walk-in talkie as well. Put all of that info together something in the police force, because of your formal clothing I'd say a high rank and the blood would infer that you would most likely be a detective inspector. Then the troubling case, your hair is messy but your wearing formal clothing so you obviously rubbed your head in confusion multiple times. You look tired as to reference to the bags under your eyes and you badly need somewhere to sit most likely after being to a crime scene with threw everything you already knew out the window. Did I get anything wrong?" Sherlock said smoothly while looking back to his coffee. The detective's eyes were wide and his jaw had dropped. He stated at Sherlock.
"What?" Sherlock asked looking at the detective.
"That was... well I don't know. What do you do for a living?" The man asked cautiously.
"Recently graduated, I have a degree in chemistry and am struggling to find a job that suits me, why?" Sherlock answered looking at the man.
"Well you seem to be very good at um... observing. Hey do you think you could help me with something?" He asked Sherlock. Sherlock looked at the man confused, what could he possibly need help with?
"Sure what is it?" The man opened his briefcase and took out some files.
"There's been a murder of a woman named Lauren Blake, she and her husband live alone with their two sons. The woman had gone to a club and was murdered in an alley way." He said handing Sherlock the files. Sherlock was surprised he was being told this but still looked in the case and examined the photographs.
"She's a serial adulter." Sherlock stated.
"What?" The detective scratched his head.
"Where's her wedding ring and why would she go to a club? If she had gone to the club once by herself that would not raise much suspicion by her husband but multiple times would so serial adulter. With some logic it's quite easy to figure out it was most likely her husband to find her there otherwise she wouldn't follow him into the alleyway sober. Shes not drunk or high because her clothes are not disheveled and her heels are in relatively good shape. So the husband did it there you go." Sherlock said handing back the files to the man. He seemed to be impressed by how well Sherlock had been able to solve the case within a few seconds and examining photographs.
"Detective Inspector Lestrade." The man held out his hand for Sherlock to shake it. Sherlock carefully took the hand and shook it.
"Sherlock Holmes"

Lestrade would constantly ask Sherlock opinions on cases. Eventually Sherlock decided to invent a job that would fit him. A consulting detective it was perfect. Eventually he got a small flat however it was in horrible condition but that didn't stop Sherlock. It was cheap and that's all that mattered. Eventually he met Mrs. Hudson in Florida and she had told him when she got back to London she would offer a nice flat for a cheap amount of money however he would need a flat mate. He also started Testosterone and got top surgery which made him very pleased.

Sherlock leaned on the balcony of his flat when Lestrade entered. He spotted Sherlock with a cigarette in his hand.
"I was just kidnapped by someone. He asked me to spy on you for money." Lestrade said as he went beside Sherlock. Sherlock scoffed and lifted the cigarette up to his lips.
"Anything else he said?" Sherlock questioned Lestrade talking in some more of the nicotine he so desperately desired.
"Yeah he said to watch out for you because apparently your 'transgender' or something and your an easy target for harassment... though that can't be true right?" Lestrade chuckled but Sherlock didn't laugh along with him. Lestrade's smile faded.
"Wait your actually trans?" Lestrade asked Sherlock nodded as he blew smoke into the streets on London.
"Wow I um... had no idea it just wasn't a possibility to me wow..." Lestrade seemed shocked. The thought had never occurred that Sherlock was trans. Lestrade smiled softly.
"Well that one thing revealed about you and many more mysteries to come."

We love Lestrade here. I don't have much to say other than this is the last of the backstory chapters because that's basically done. I hope you guys are doing well.
