Fall (Chapter 10)

~Natalie's POV~

I put on a casual wear and go downstairs to meet my mum before I go to Justin's house.

"Hey honey.." My mum greeted me before I did. I miss her voice. I miss her nagging and complaining at me. Hospital was totally a bad choice. I didn't know how I ended up wanting to live in a hospital back then.

"Hey, mum.."

"How do you feel now?"

"Great.." I flashed out a smile, sitting down on a stool.

"Thank God Justin take a good care of you when we weren't around. You got bored when you're lonely.."

"He did. He even brought Jazzy and Jaxon with him," I smiled, thinking of the day meeting them.

"Yeah, I know. They miss you being their good sister.."

"I know that very well, mum," I winked.

"So, you are going to his house right?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"Give this to Pattie. She loves it.."

I smell it. "Hmmmm, vegetables soup. Save some for me?"

"Yeah sure darling.."

"Okay mum, I will go now! Justin will get back in a minute." I kissed her and walked off.

When I'm about to walked off the door, she reminds me to give Pattie that delicious vegetable soup. I reached his house 10 minutes after that. Well, its not that a million miles away from mine.

"Hello!" I screamed from the outside, hoping someone in the house could hear me from here.

Finally someone heard me and opened the door.

"Yes?" A guy with tattooed arms all over his body staring cold at me and then lashed out a smile. I think I know him.

"Jeremy?"

He was sort of reminding something and then looking back at me. "Oh, hi Natalie! Its been so long since I met you last..... I don't even remember.." I laughed a little.

"Its fine. I don't even remember either. So, did Jazzy and Jaxon here?"

"Yeah, inside. Come on in.." He let me in, bringing me to the living room, meeting his lovely daughter and son.

Before living room, I have to meet Pattie and just in my sight to see she's cooking in the kitchen with a wonderful smell. No doubt, I've always loved food.

I greeted her with a smile. "Hey.. Sorry for disturbing you. My mum gave this to you. She said that you liked it,"

"What's that?" She asks, as she wipe her wet hands off with her pink apron.

"Well, uh.. Vegetable soup?" Her eyes widen, feeling delightful, maybe.

"Oh wow. Thanks. Thank you so much for this," She puts the container on the other side of the kitchen, taking a bowl out from the kitchen counter.

"No problem, Pattie," I smile, sitting on the tool. It was awkward, really. But she's my mum's friend after all.

"So you feel great now?" She asks, referring to my condition after the accident. Well..

"Splendid, I guess. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to the living room," I says, getting up. "Oh, sure. Why not," She says, smiling.

I see Jeremy at the front, watching television while looking at the two kids. As I step forward, Jeremy shot a smile at me.
