A/N: If it's not in third person POV or speech quotations, it's most likely the character's thoughts. Just letting you know.
Cc's POV:
I need to just get away from the guys for a while. It's too loud in here. We passed a cemetery not too long ago. Maybe I'll go there. At least for a little while. It's getting dark so probably not long. It'll give me time to work on my new song.
"I'm going out guys! Be back later!" I yelled as I quickly walked off the noisy bus in order to avoid any further prying or questioning.
"Where are you-" Jinxx was cut off by the door closing.
Finally. Peace and quiet. As I walked down the sidewalk, I looked at all the leaves on the trees in the process of changing from bright green to the classic autumn orange. I saw the tall black iron gate to the cemetery a couple blocks in front of me.
Don't ask why I like going to cemeteries because I don't know myself. I just go there when I need to think or be alone. It's quiet and still, almost to the point of being uncomfortable for most people. But I like it.
As I approached the gate, I saw a figure standing in the distance. It looked like a woman wearing a long black dress with her waist length hair blowing freely in the cool night breeze. I walked towards her cautiously, intrigued by her appearance. She was calm, tranquil. I almost didn't want to disturb her. ..
(Y/N)'s POV:
It's time. I have matured now. It is my time to find a mate.
Okay so...I'm a vampire. Yeah. I know. Weird right? Anyway. I'm 18 now...which means I need to find my mate. The hard part is that I have no idea who it is. Well...until I get close to them. My grandmother said that when you touch them, a mark will appear on your arm signaling that they're the one.
I felt a sudden urge to go to the cemetery. Like something was pulling me towards it. I stood on my windowsill and leaned out, catching myself mid-air and flying upwards so I wouldn't be seen as I continued on my way to the cemetery.
I landed softly and stood just inside the gate, looking at the empty field that lay before me.
I heard footsteps very close behind me and quickly spun around to be met with a tall, thin man with long black hair and brown eyes. He froze where he was and just stared at me, his eyes traveling slowly up and down my form.
"Hi." He said simply.
"Hi..."
"Mind if I stay with you?" He asked.
I wasn't used to this. People were always scared of me. They avoided me at all costs. I remembered the question I had been asked and shook my head no, telling him it was alright.
"Want to sit down?" He asked, gesturing to a bench that was not too far away.
"Sure." I answered.
We both walked over to the bench and sat down next to each other, sitting in silence for a few minutes before the man spoke again.
"I'm Cc by the way." He said.
"I'm (Y/N)." I said.
"Nice to meet you."
Cc's POV:
We were both quiet again as we observed our surroundings. I looked at her again. Something about her was...intriguing. Like she just captured my attention without doing anything.
