Chapter 58

"I thought we are done doing researches....", Yuna slams her head onto the table, letting out a very long sigh as one hand lazily scrolls her laptop. "Why did I agree to help..."

Sara chuckles lightly as she adjusts her glasses and continues her reading. It has been a week into their part time jobs as research assistants to their Professor back in college. Sara does not mind but Yuna insisted that she wanted to do the job as well saying she has been bored at home with nothing to do.

"You were the one who agreed to do this"

"I didn't see this coming", Yuna grunts again, massaging her forehead as she yawns. "I need some coffee or something"

"You had two cups of them already god damn it Yuna", Sara looks up from her laptop, eyebrows furrowed at her friend that looks like she is about to die in her chair. "Get some rest. We have a lot of time to complete this"

Yuna lets out soft sigh as she pushes her head off the table, fingers tracing the edge of the piles of books on the working table.

"I want to ask you something"

"Hmmm?"

"How are you both progressing?", she asked with a hint of teasing in her voice. "I cannot believe you guy are doing long distance relationship when you just got together"

"Why not?"

"Don't you miss him?"

"I do", she replies without any hesitation. "But, what can I do?"

Yuna looks at her friend, laughing lowly as she remembers how far they have been since day one. Who would have thought Jungkook and her will end up together despite the doubts she had in the beginning? As much as she is so thankful stars aligned and the ship is sailing, she still wishes her friend to feel nothing but genuine happiness.

Sara had been through a lot and fought a lot thus, she deserves this. All this happiness radiating out of her is exactly what she had been praying every day.

"You look so happy these days", Yuna laughs as she rests her chin on her palm. "Look at all these pixie dust around you"

"And you didn't come home last night. Did you sleep at Jimin's house again?"

"Damn it", Yuna scoffs in defeat. "Don't switch the topic okay, I am asking about you and Jungkook"

"Why not?"

"Answer me"

"What?"

"Are you really happy with him?"

Sara looks down on her laptop for a while, mind slowly recalling all the times she has spent with Jungkook and how it continuously adds colours to her life. As much as she feels it might be a little bit too cringey to admit but, without a doubt, Jungkook is like a part of her that has been missing.

In other words, he completes her.

Never a day goes by without them talking just about anything, little fights here and there, subtle flirts that never seems to bore her—honestly—and everything he does, makes her want to love him more. It's surprising to her too, that a person, has this much ability to make her feel wants to be alive and to be loved.

And it amazes her how human can love this much too.

She is in love, stupidly and madly in love with Jungkook. Too in love it feels like love never seems to suffice in describing what she feels for him. Day by day, the more she realizes how she needs him with her, and if possible, forever. It will be a lie if she never thought of what if things go wrong and they couldn't meet eye to eye anymore.
