Voicing my outrage.

I reading one of the poems by XxWritingTearsXx, or more specifically, the note at the top when I got inspiration for this. It has barely anything to so with her poem, but the note got me thinking..

Anyway, here's the poem!

Voicing my Outrage

Useless thoughts

Unheard feelings

What's the point of thinking

When no one listens? No one cares?

Perhaps they try to be nice

And give you advice

But when the time comes to use it,

They don't care

They don't listen.

Hypocritical minds

Say what to do

To trust them

To tell them.

So naive young souls

Pour out their hearts

To find they have gone through deaf ears.

Don't count the chickens before they hatch,

Speak only the truth, they say.

What if we waited until they hatched,

Then they got up and flew away!

What if we spoke only the truth

And YOU misunderstood them?

And WE had to face the consequences?

Our speeches fall upon unhearing ears

Or trigger hurtful remarks.

We learn to Keep our mouths shut

Not dare let go of out tongues.

But if we do,

How will we voice our outrage?

It was inspired by XxWritingTearsXx, not based on. There's a difference!! And hope for more poems! I need feedback, by the way!! I love whoever reads my stuff!!!
