Don't worry! This isn't about u!!!!!!!!!!!! I recently made a Mibba account (Mibba.com) and I was SERIOUSLY ticked that the poems section was filled with emo, sad, deppressing, tragic poems! No happy poems at all! None are even neutral!
A bunch of people said that beautiful poetry is often deppressing, and I guess that's true... But it doesn't have to be about ridiculous things like drugs and cutting!
Let me ask you this: If you are addicted to drugs, would you just kee doing those awful drugs or write a poem about it?!?!
Most of this is coming from the "Popular Tags" Thing on Mibba.
Sorry for boring you with my ranting!
What is this Place?
Abuse, Anger, Blood.
Why are these topics common?
Break, Broken, Cutting.
Is THIS what we have become?
Death, Depression, Drugs.
people think poems are:
Fear, Fire, Hate.
only for the dark and twisted.
Hurt, Kill, Lies.
These corrupt the image,
Lost,Murder, Pain
of poetry.
Suicide, Tears.
IS THAT your-

Christmas, Dreams, Friends.
The rare, yet cheerful topics.
Heart, Life, Love.
Why aren't there more?
What is this place?
Where evil rules,
Poetry's domain?
I miss the time when poetry was beauty.
