(another 10 min later) is that a flicker of an idea right there? hm.. flicker... light... LIGHTBULB!
An idea
An artist stares at the canvas,
trying to find the picture within.
An author sits, pen in hand.
searching her mind for a story.
Inside the mind,
an idea is a splash of color.
A flicker of inspiration,
is like a single brushstroke.
On the outside, their eyes light up.
And their mind whir into action.
The painter mixes colors
and a masterpiece begins to take form.
The writer takes up the pen,
scribbles down some notes.
Is it a poem, a story, a ballad?
Wild slashes of vibrance,
swirl and twirl wildly
As imagination takes its toll.
In the creators' eyes,
Fire dances, storms rage, war is peaced.
In their mind's, volleys of colors spark and burst.
All this comes from a single idea
THIS TOOK FOREVER TO WRITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
