I sat alone in a window seat at the Lima Bean, my textbook and pad of paper open in front of me.  And while I sat copying vocab terms, my thoughts wandered to the events of the last few days.

Ok so glee club is no longer a thing and I'm not gunna lie it majorly bites,

But between teaching less classes and taking less clients at the gym, tutoring Ryder, and basketball practice I actually have a little time to breathe. I'm still busy don't get me wrong, but now I usually go to bed at 12:00 instead of 2:00.

It's weird seeing everyone in the hallways doing their separate things, but at the same time it nice in that I don't have to deal with people I don't like to deal with.  But earlier we all had a run in with each other and everyone was in different uniforms and in different clubs, it was all very strange.

I still hang out with my closest friends, plus a couple new additions, like we did before we joined Glee but it all just felt different, everyone was acting weird.  Cas was distant, Bella kept cancelling, Mitch was acting sketchy, Talia just seemed to be the only one who acted close to normal but even she was bothered.  Marley and Unique had joined us kind of like honorary members, so they we good additions, kind of taking the heat off the others making less of it an awkward mess than it was spiraling into.

Im still on the rocks with Artie, but I think he's coming around, he may be giving me a second chance soon which is the only thing I have going for me at the moment.  Considering I'm still on the outs with the other men in my life... except for Blaine, he's like the golden child at the moment.

I sighed and dropped my pen on my books and buried my head in my hands groaning in frustration.

"Damn, looks like somebody is having a worse week then I am," I looked up at Ryder who set his backpack down and slid into the seat opposite of me,

"God you have no idea," I said swiping the hair out of my face and plopping my face in my opposite hand.

"You wanna talk about it?" He asked as he took a drink from his coffee,

"Oh no, too many issues not enough time," I said with a smile, he gave a small laugh.

"I hear that," he said tipping his drink towards me before taking a sip,

"Anyways, now," I said adjusting my papers, "pick your method of torture today, will it be math, English or our least favorite, science,"

"Actually I-" he said as he shuffled through his belongings, but he was cut off by,

"Hey Ace," I didn't need to look to know who it was, but I did anyways, "Can we um talk?" My mouth drew itself into a flat line as I looked at him blankly.

"Why?" I asked taking a sip of my drink, "Here to gloat?" I looked in front of me to see a very confused Ryder,

"More like grovel," he said with a slight laugh, when he saw I wasn't laughing, he kneeled down to my level and I could feel his presence close to me, "Please, just let me explain,"

"As you can see, I'm busy with my friend Ryder at the moment, so why don't you just take a number and wait to be called," I said, Ryder looked beyond confused and slightly uncomfortable.

"Presley, I'm not going to take no for an answer, either you talk to me, or I'm gunna make a scene, right here, right now," he now had my full attention,

"You're bluffing," I said in a challenge, he only gave me his signature smirk and stood up to his full height,

"Oh really?" He said, his voice escalated grabbing the attention of everyone in the shop, "Does this look like a bluff to you? Huh?" He said yelling, causing everyone to stare at us.  I just rolled my eyes at him and said,

"Yeah ok whatever, fine, we will talk later when I get home, don't call me I'll call you." He smiled in victory and gave me a peck on the cheek in excitement which caused me to roll my eyes even more severely and look at him in annoyance, as he walked out of the store. People were still staring so genius that I am said, "We were running lines for our play," and everybody looked away, except for Ryder, who was staring at me like I had grown a third head.

"What, who?" He stared, I took a sip of my drink and shook my head,

"Long story dude, you don't wanna know, trust me." I said, I looked down at the notes he had pulled out, "So, where were we?"
