"Where did that rat go?" Kamui spat, kicking aside a trash can.

After Kamui and Nobume ambushed Sougo in his room and chased him outside, Sougo somehow managed to elude the two, and after losing him, they ended up in the park by the school. The usually calm Kamui was now fuming and growing impatient.

"Sougo isn't your average guy, Kamui. He's an expert at hide-and-seek. I haven't won a single game against him," Nobume told him, holding onto his hand.

"Tch, he won't even come out and fight me like a man. I won't let someone like him near my Kagura. But, of course the only man worthy of being around Kagura is me, so all other men are unacceptable."

"Kagura's a lucky girl. She has such a loving brother. I wouldn't want to be her though. Then I wouldn't be able to *beep* with you or do *beep*. Unless, your love for your sister goes that far..."

"That's nonsense, Nobume. My love for Kagura is pure, and she should remain a temple of purity for her whole life."

"No nephews or nieces for you then?"

"Don't worry. The Holy Spirit will bestow a child onto Kagura like the Virgin Mary. She will give birth to the next Messiah and bring peace to this—" Kamui abruptly stopped mid-sentence to block a surprise kick with his forearms.

"What the hell do you see your sister as, you hopeless sis-con?"

Sougo jumped back after kicking at Kamui and glared at his opponent with malice and disgust.

"Oho, the rat finally reveals itself. I assume you're prepared to die now?" Kamui asked, cracking his knuckles.

"As if. I can clearly tell that you've bumped your head hard somewhere along the way, and a braindead fool can't kill me, bakayaro."

"Ha, I don't want to hear that from the coward who hid this whole time."

Sougo smirked and replied, "Sorry that I took so long to reveal myself. I had to make a quick stop."

Sougo pulled out a brown paper bag from his coat pocket and threw what was inside at Nobume. Realizing what it was, Nobume leapt at it like a dog and nibbled on the donut in a crouching position. Kamui's expression went dark, and the vermillion-haired boy reached out to Nobume. The blue-haired girl swapped his hand away and growled before resuming to eating the donut. Kamui clenched his hand as he turned to Sougo, who had a sadistic smile splayed on his face. Kamui opened his eyes and looked at the sandy-haired with killing intent. His bloodlust got so strong it began emanating out from him in visible waves.

"I planned to make your death quick so I could go after Kagura, but it seems like you don't deserve a quick and easy death. I'll make sure to show you hell."

"Bring it on, brother," Sougo taunted, beckoning Kamui to himself.

Kamui charged forward at an inhuman speed, and Sougo barely had time to block his fist. Sougo was sent back several feet by the impact, and Kamui closed the distance between them again in a split second.

"Don't call me brother."

Sougo darted back right before Kamui brought down his fist and created a crater in the ground. After Sougo landed on his feet, the two sprang at each other, and sparks flew at their collision. Both fell back before trying again for the kill. They became a flurry of kicks and punches, and each matched the other blow for blow. As the fight intensified, Sougo's smile grew wider, and the look in his eyes grew hungrier. At a certain point, Kamui also felt his excitement take over his anger.

"You're not so bad for a brat," Kamui said, swinging his leg forward.

"And you're not so bad for a brainless idiot," Sougo countered, hitting Kamui's leg with his own.
