Mutual One-sided Love

Yaoyorozu woke up, it's a Saturday so school is off. Ever since the students moved into the dorms it's been harder and harder to hide her feelings. Usually she'd just try to avoid him out side school so she might not slip up, which was pretty easy. Now she sees him all the time. Her stomach growled, louder then she wanted it to. She sighed before removing the covers from her body, and sliding into some furry slippers.

Her hair had been let down from her ponytail reaching her mid back. She just wore a peach colored shirt and blue shorts. She yawned while walking into the kitchen, to make some tea and breakfast. After she did so, she washed her dishes and walks back to her bedroom. It's okay to sleep in a little on a Saturday, but the boys of class 1-a would not let that happened. It started with a loud bang.

Obviously Bakugou. She looked out her doors, looking to see if anyone else was up and willing to go check on it. But sadly no one had left their room. All thinking 'someone else will check'. " It might've just been that... I don't need to... " She said. Then there was another boom and not yelling. She groaned while rubbing her eyes. Being the deputy of the class was a lot of work. She closed her door behind herself while walking down.

She found a screaming Bakugou chasing after a terrified crying Mineta. With the other running after Bakugou to try and stopped him. " You cannot do this so early! The girls are sleeping still!! " Iida scolded them. " Just Shut up four eyes!! " Bakugou yelled back. She jumped in front of him. He wouldn't blast her because they've established some sort of friendship and he knows how she can get when she's awake for no reason. " Bakugou what happened? " She yawned.

" I caught this Pervy bastard jerking off to my mother! " He said. Yaoyorozu rolled her eyes annoyed. " He's a teenage boy he's gonna do that " She said. " You'd better keep your dirty thoughts away from my mother " He said, while Kirishima and Iida hold him back. Yaoyorozu sighed. " Thanks for helping us out with him " Kirishima smiles. " No problem " she yawned walking back to her bedroom.

~In Her Dream~

It was an okay day. The sun was shining brightly, there was a nice cool breeze. It wasn't too cold. It wasn't too hot. What some would call a beautiful day but to Yaoyorozu it was just okay. This day would be better if she were with him. She sat under a nice palm tree, it shaded her from the sun. She didn't know what she was doing here. She'd just suddenly appeared at the beach, fully clothed.

Not even a bikini. Just a t-shirt and some shorts. She felt something crawl up her leg, freaking her out. However it was a lizard. This lizard was oddly colored. It was white with a red spot over its left eye that was blue, contrasted to the right which was gray. He blinked it's big eyes, flashing an unexpected gummy smile to her. He seemed to not have any teeth.

Reminding her of the dragon toothless from 'how to train your dragon'. She smiled and pets him with one finger, running it down his boney back. The lizard tried biting her finger, but he didn't seem to hold any malicious intent. Perhaps he was trying to be cute, or maybe it was a gesture of loving. Like how when you adopt a dog, when they get used to you they always wanna protect you and kiss you.

She giggled slightly. Not sharing any spoken words, they talked with their eyes, seemingly knowing what the other was thinking. The lizard ran up her arm to her shoulder, and rubbed on the bottom of her jaw. With a smile he sat there, almost falling asleep.

~End~

Yaoyorozu was now fully awake, and still the only girl up right now. She took a shower, before getting dressed in a white spaghetti strap t-shirt, light blue jeans, and a matching light blue crop jean jacket with light blue and white 12's. Her hair is tied in her usual spiky ponytail. She yawned while sitting on the couch in between Midoriya and Kirishima. " What're we watching? " She asked taking some popcorn.

" Titanic " Kirishima answered. " And that is my cue to leave " She said getting up but the redhead pulled her back down. " C'mom it's a good movie " Kirishima said. " You guys watch this every Saturday just to see if Midoriya won't cry at the ending. He cries at everything " She rolled her eyes. " Hey! " Midoriya said. " I do not always cry at everything " He added defending himself. " Midoriya you cried when thanos died " She rolled her eyes.

" Midoriya your my friend. And friends have to be honest with each other. So right now I'm gonna be honest with you " She said turning his head to face her. " Your a softie " She shrugged before walking to the kitchen, where they could still see her a little. She grabbed a water bottle and sits down where she was before. " 200 bucks he's a waterfall half way into the movie " She said. " Your on " Kirishima smirked.

~Half way into the movie~

Midoriya was crying nonstop. Yaoyorozu smirked while holding out her hand where Kirishima placed the money. " Thanks " She smiles. At the end Midoriya was a mess. They had to remind him that the movie was based off of the little facts that they had so that part was probably messed with a little bit to make it romantic. Her eyes found their way to the left, where Shoto Todoroki was sitting on the other couch.

A small blush creeps on her cheeks as she immediately looks away when he finds her staring. The blush went unnoticed by him. After he finished his soba noodles he gets up and washed his dishes and then walks back to his room.

~There~

He sighed and laid down. Staring up at the ceiling. He saw her look at him, and was trying not to look back but he ended up doing so. That situation made his heart pound so badly. He didn't completely understand this feeling at all. It was like, he felt really nervous around her and always wanted to be away, but when he was away from her all he wanted to do was be near her. He missed her. This feeling is wasn't gonna go away so easily.

Sorry if you wanted to see more of Todoroki in this, but I wanna just write about Yaoyorozu mostly because her backstory hasn't really been explained due to her being a side character and also I just really like her.
