Almost 2 years have passed and the Gibsons together Noelle have kind of forgot and got over everything but there was still one or maybe two things that needed to be fixed, one of them being Matt and Josh's mental health and second their marriage. They started trying to fix these problems about 4 months ago and the results were already outstanding in the sense of they already got sort of a name for their own individual problem and that was PTSD which stands for post-traumatic stress disorder because let's face it it's not easy to find ou the person you love almost lost their life or that their addiction problems reoccured so now that they knew what was wrong they could also put together the pieces and realize why their marriage went off track. And that is because they were always stressed or scared which prompted them to argue or even worse fight (yes, there's a difference), now they also knew how to fix it. They decided to take the weekend away from Noelle and Wyatt and Ben and go on a lodge trip just the 2 of them. Today was Wednesday and they wanted to leave Friday morning early so they both went back home from therapy and started packing. The next morning, Friday the 14th at 7:00 the couple left home and Wyatt and Noelle alone. They got in the car put their bags in the truck and no longer then 5 later a drunk driver came out of nowhere hitting their car, the car went into a tree and the 3 fell on the car setting it on fire. The 2 men managed to escape with just a couple of bruises and a small burn on their right legs. They weren't far from home so they decided to walk home or limp home because the way they got out from the car made their ankles twist and now they couldn't really walk. When they walked in limping Noelle was alone with Ben because Wyatt had to go get something he forgot from school the day before as they had a free day today. But going back Noelle heard the door from the room she was putting Ben to sleep and asked: - Benny, is that you? - No, it's us.. said Josh with the last drop of power he had in his voice. She instantly ran downstairs as she realized something was wrong: - You guys, what happened? They all sat on the couch, Josh took one deep breath, gathered some strength, and started telling Noelle how they ended up like this: - We were going just getting out of town and a truck came out of nowhere and hit us - But are you okay? - Yes, we only have a couple of bruises and a small burn on our legs each - And the car? - A tree fell on it and it caught on fire - Your bags? - They were in the trunk. - And what are you going to do? - Well, the driver still may be okay, because when we managed to escape the car he was gone and so was his truck. - Are you thinking of filing a complaint? - We didn't even figure out when it happened so it would be pointless because we don't know who could've done it. After they just left it at that but decided not to tell Ben anything but their secret got to Ben one day when he was coming home from school and he found a piece of paper in their mailbox that said: BRING ME MY MONEY OR ELSE YOU WON'T ESCAPE NEXT TIME. He immediately went into the living room and asked his dads and girlfriend for an explication. When Josh heard what was written on the piece of paper he immediately broke down and explained everything. Apparently a few years when first went into drugs he was spending all his money on them so much so that he had to borrow some from some very suspicious and the most dangerous people in town but with the promise to give back all the money. Needless to say, he forgot and now he had to find a way to either give them the money or turn himself into the police for the crime he committed in order to get the money. He spoke to the head of the gang that put him into this position when they made him kill a person and asked for some more time. Snakebite promised Josh he'd give him one more week. Little did he know one day his whole life could end. One day after a family dinner at a restaurant they all came back home to find their whole house burnt to bits and pieces. They were all shocked to say the least and the second they entered the police station and saw Snakebite aka John being dragged in his cell after he gave himself into the police. They left the station as they had nothing else to do and were now trying now to make calls and see where they could spend a few days or weeks till their house is fixed or at least liveable. It wasn't long until Noelle suggested they go live with their moms. They of course accepted without even thinking twice but they did not know why this sudden visit was taking place. Their car was fine and they managed to drive to the Gutierez wives. When they got there they had no baggage, no extra clothes it was just Noelle, Wyatt, Matt, Josh, and Ben. They had a big beautiful dinner and the inevitable question about what happened came from Jenny, one of Noelle's moms: - So guys, you know we're extremely happy we get to spend time with Noelle and all of you but we just wanna know what brought up the idea of visiting us. Noelle, Wyatt, and his dads looked at each other and remained silent and then Josh started telling the story: - Alright, I have to take the blame. Not many of you know, actually Matt is the only one who knows about this but at the beginning of our relationship I was going to a bit of a hard patch in family life-wise, and that's what pushed me into drugs and I became addicted, so much so that I started hanging out with the wrong people and at some point, I gave all my money away on drugs and I borrowed some from the head of the people I was hanging out with but he did not give me the money just like that, he made me kill someone and promised he would take the blame if I give him back the money. I went and told the police what we discussed i would tell them and they believed me. He was sentenced to 16 years in prison but he was released much earlier for good behavior and he remembered I forgot to pay him back and gave me an ultimatum which I did not take seriously and he burned our house down After this the silence crept back into the Gutierez-Gibson family dinner. The rest of the evening went down pretty much. The next day they all went where they needed to, leaving Ben alone with a nanny. Mrs. Mildred put little Ben to sleep and went across the street to her house just for 5 minutes so she can feed her cats. When she left Ben was safe, secure and sleeping but when she came back she decided to check up on Ben to make sure nothing happened. And, really, the back and front and back door were locked so there's nothing that could've happened. Right? Well, not really because when Mrs. Mildred checked up on him the spot he was put in was empty and all that was left there was a puddle of fake blood. She immediately freaked out and called Jenny. She told her everything and they did everything they could to get Ben back before Noelle found out. They had just lost hope when Jen remembered about what Josh told them at dinner and that she looked up the guy he told them about and it was one of her ex's friends and they still kept in touch even after she and his friend called it quits so she had his number. She called him and he was indeed the one that took Ben. The 2 talked it through and managed to ger Ben back before anything bad could happen or before Noelle would find out. Little Ben was brought home safe and sound. Noelle came back from school an hour later, they all had dinner and then went to bed. The next day was Noelle and Wyatt's graduation day. The night went by quick and now they were in the middle of preparing to leave the house. Noelle was in a maroon dress and black pantyhose and a pair of black shoes and her hair was in a cute messy bun with some baby hairs left out and Wyatt was wearing a white shirt and a beautiful dark blue suit top. Their parents also went with them and they were all on point and ready to go. They arrived just in time for the diplomas and of course, they got their diplomas and were now no longer high school students. So usually the diplomas are handed one by one but before the whole shebang started Wyatt went to the principal and asked if he and Noelle could get their diplomas at the same time because he wanted to do something for her. They were the first to get it all done and after they found themselves holding the paper that could get them into college Wyatt got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend of 4 years and eventual baby mama. After the graduation party they went home and started planning their wedding. They decided to get married on june 19 of the same year and so they did. Now they had the next year for themselves to decide their future and their colleges
