nolan is an absolute serious filmmaker. sure, there's some funny moments in one of his movies, but the rest of the movie is absolutely serious and needs to be like that.
take memento for example, during a chase scene, the main character thinks of something funny. the rest of the film? absolutely serious.
why do people expect his films to be humorous? nolan is an absolutely serious guy. he knows what he wants when it comes to writing and directing.
anyways, nolan stans stay winning, because guess what?
