hi everyone!
i hope you all are doing well, and i hope you guys are having a fantastic summer!
so as some of you know, i recently posted a star trek fic.
i watched the remake/prequel trilogy from the kelvin timeline and loved ALL the movies. i was always more of a star wars person and i put off star trek for so long because i thought i wouldn't like it.
however, i'm a HUGE trekkie now and i love star trek, so that's that!
(i also wanna thank my girl carangis for getting me into star trek. love you, queen.)
so, you know, i thought... why not post a sneak peek to my novel!
and now, here is a piece of the prologue from the first act

TO QUOTE A QUESTION by the great Ridley Scott: How could you look at the galaxy and not feel insignificant?
Our beloved galaxy, the milky way. It offers many beautiful things: planets, stars, nebulas, moons, and so much more. It's what keeps our Earth in its power, and it's what bind other planets together to create a beautiful form.
Never in a million years did I think that I would be flying through the galaxy alongside my older half brother, James, and his crew, aboard the starship enterprise in the future. That never crossed my mind.
Technology is so much more different. The world is slowly advancing day by day, with new medical devices being created, new computers, phones, etc. We've also got flying cars! This is the wonderful future we are living in, and those are memories to cherish forever.
