today i was going to post about a story idea that i had, but right now is not the time.
last night, we lost a beloved actor, chadwick boseman.
chadwick fought stage four colon cancer for four years. during surgeries and chemotherapy, chadwick film black panther, da 5 bloods, avengers: infinity war, avengers: endgame, 21 bridges, and marshall.
although chadwick was silent about his battle, he still never gave up. he wasn't going to let himself lose.
the kind of affect that chadwick boseman had on the black community is so surreal. chadwick never backed down with his role as black panther. i can't even begin to express my words. the hurt i'm feeling right now is absolutely unbearable. when i think of black panther, i think of a film representing a beautiful culture that i will always love for eternity. chadwick changed so many people. his kindness and love will forever be such a thing that changed the world. his smile lit up my darkest days, his talent filled the void, and his passion for acting will always be cherished for many years.
hearing this news broke me. i couldn't even begin to express the pain i felt. my mother hugged me tight, because she knew that i was hurting too much.
just remember to cherish every second in your life. you might never know what could happen. hug a loved one right. check in on a friend. you never know what's happening behind closed doors. have a great day, everyone. life is precious, everyone. we are all going to fight hard battles that are going to tear us down, but we can't give up.
my prayers go out to chadwick's wife and his family. i can't even imagine the pain they are going through right now.
all i am asking is that we do not question what will happen with black panther two. we lost someone that was really special, and that movie is the least of our worries right now. we need to give chadwick's family the privacy we need right now.
